Yes it should be fine... I have had this happen to me in coco coir, but never in soil before, is all well with the root(s) of the plant?

i saw one root at the surface but i just poked it back down in the soil

cool... was the root white in colour? also, did you damage the root when reburying it?

it was white and i dont think i damaged it i just put a little soil on top of it
