Yeah, chickens can be a pain in the ass, eating crops(and crops)
But eggs just taste so good.

Did you get any volunteers pop up due to the hens shitting around the yard?

Ha ha! Funny you ask, I thought about that and I never had any pop up in the compost or yard. Probably because I feed them crushed granite and limestone, so the seeds were ground up in their crops. Hens really are the queens of the farm yard. Eggs, poo, free pest control, tilling, soil aeration, garbage disposal. etc, but oh man can they get into trouble. I have to go out there and stir them up when they are loitering or look bored, then they get back to serious work. Too funny. Happy growing!

I am starting a round of silver haze today, so that's really nice. I've been out for a while, but found all these bags of trim in the freezer from my silver haze and sour d from last year. It's not much, but hey do what ya gotta do, right?
I'll start a thread on them once they pop.
