dead leaves never recover. but dont take them off unless they are past 75 percent damaged. remember leaves are a plants solar panel. without them they cant produce energy.

plays are looking a little better, new growth is coming in slowly. I'm still getting a bit of leaf curling on the tips. The tips turn a dark green and curl up. tips are dry as well. They have been on the new nutes for 4 days now. I also changed the res...

So, plants are almost 3 weeks old. after how long should I use full strength nutes? right now i'm doing about half strength. the directions say 2-3 tsp per gallon, i'm using 25 tsp for 18 gallons. so thats 1 1/2 tsp per gallon.

any advice would be grealtly appreciated.

also, they are getting watered 5 times in a 24 hour period. they water for 15 mins, too much or too little for their age?

what happened
Update:

Plants are bouncing back very well! They have almost doubled in size to over 1 ft! The leaves are getting huge and are a nice dark green. The tips of some of the leaves are a little curled, but slowly they are healing up it seems. Only one plant looks like its stunted.

Today I switched over to 12/12 and high pressure sodium. Changing the nutes tomorrow afternoon. This is my first grow ever so wish me luck. I'll take some pictures as well.

Looks great, and the suspected hydroton-root-floating plants theory doesnt seem to be holding up with your now bigger babies, this makes me happy as I am flooding with hydroton only for my clones as well.

looks good man. i always top or fim 2 weeks b4 flowering. i like my plants to have nice twin towers going into flowering. also i noticed that its not real good to switch right to bloom nutes right when u flip to flowering. ive noticed in the first 2 weeks of flowering the plant needs more grow nute cause its doing ALOT of growing. im at week 1 1/2 flowering in my garden and im still using full strength grow. i am going to switch to half gro half bloom tommorow until week 3-4 and then switch to full bloom.
