My experimental setup - LED AUTOFLOWER SCROG

Hello everyone,

I've just setup my own case and ready to do some experimental grow. I want to know if this setup gives me some bud..I am not after big yields, me and my wife are smoking only at some weekends if we go out or want to have some good time 10gr. is enough for 2 months. So here is my setup :

- Coolermaster RC690 case
- 2x 120x120x25mm fans (1x intake 1x exhaust) (don't know properties but they blow nice )
- 2x fan controller for each fan
- 2x 90w LED bulbs (red + blue) (you can search in Ebay : 168 LED grow light blue red)
- Thermometer for temp and humidty

With this setup, I will try some femmed autos (got them from a friend - I don't konw the strain). I will add a scrog when it is ready. Also an odor blocker (odor will not be a huge issue, the room can stink a little bit)

I will just try and see how this turns out..All comments are welcome. Tomorrow I will run the case without the pot and see if the temp and humidity are ok. On saturday I will germ my first seed and start a journal. Good night to all.

i'd add a small cfl for white light and pick up a one gallon smart pot

Those ledlights only consume 6.5w each..?

Autos are not very great for SCROG, but with such a small grow space it might not matter all that much.

I do wish to see how those lights do, I was interested in getting that kind of LED light for my PC grow box but have never seen them used

I would suggest adding a few CFLs too, its true that the plants love the red and blue spectrums but most new LED panels these days have anywhere from 3-11 spectrums of light of which the plant uses so you're limiting what the plant needs. Also I would suggest against a scrog set up in that guy. Most autos stay around 12" anyways so I am not sure about how tall that PC case is but it should be fine IMO especially if you're going to have small pots in there which will also reduce size. If worse comes to worse and they are getting too big just do a little LSTing. Just try and get some strains that are known for staying nice and low.
