my final review of meizhi 1200 led

Very good quality . I like it better the HPs quality I contribute that from more directed light to the plant.full spectrum .I will not say the led had more yield. But I will say in a small area the led would pull more yield. The side lighting on the meizhi does nothing. The plants on the sides all were leaning towards the light. A HPs spreads out a lot better can do a lot more plants. So I can't say what light is better my led or hps it depends on the room design. In a tent this meizhi would be killing it. So in my situation LEDs won't be saving any electric because of the area I need covered it would be the same watts led vs hps. The meizhi has hardly any heat . so I will be mixxing led with hps. I think it will give me a bad ass combo quality spread and yield. Next I'm buying 4 300 watt mars hydro 5 watt led see how these 65 dollar lights work.

I recently bought one of the meizhi 450w for a veg light and so far i really like it. Has a nice amount of white diodes so it doesnt really look blurple to me. Barely any heat from it. Lights up 2x4 really well. Gonna grow a couple autos under it.

Your going to be happy. Just keep the plants 100 % under it. Will be doing great . they just raised the prices on all the meizhi units. The owner said he's not sure if its possible to get any more .

Glad i bought it when i did then. I think it will do well for veg and growing a couple autos.

I got a 900 and a 600 watt of theirs. So far they're doing a great job.
What was said about the plants having to be right under it i can agree somewhat.
I found that the light can easily be further away than what they recommend and then you don't get that issue. Plus I turn my pots 180 degrees every day too.

Make a turntable ;) or I might hook my light to the oscillating fan. It only needs to move maybe 5"

Actually, maybe in the new year I'm gonna try to find something slow moving like a clockwork and add an excenter to the hour drive. That attached to the lightcwith a connecting rod should give me the movement I'd like.

Seeing as it's been a few months from first posted, how has the miezhi lights doing?

I've x2 viparspectra 300w which I use for seedlings/clones, but upgrading my flower room from hps to LED's - 900w's & it's a toss up between the vipars & the miezhi's; so opinions, reviews or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone recommend which, or give me an idea via a 600w hps comparison?

The 120s will give u better spread I'm actually waiting on 120s n new reflectors for my cobx9 and 3 cobx4 the cobx9 already states it covers a 4x4 n it does I just got greedy lol once of the cobx4 is in my veg at half power...all in my thread n agreed. On blurples n that razz. Not to mention the Budmaster cobs have a yearly deprecation of a near 1% n if any of u read my thread you'll see how amazing the modular design is

i sold the meizhi a bit back it did work very well but not as good as a hps the quality was actually high but the bulk was lower . the meizhi has a lot of blue in it thinking this is why it lacked some yield but higher quality. for veg it pulls its weight just as good as mh very fast tight spacing veg . so later i was mixing the led lights with hps it was working out great . why i sold every time i went into the rooms these led lights are bright ! i had the led glasses on i watered the plants and my eyes would hurt was not even looking into the lights . then i tried to use welder glasses those very dark green glasses . one night i went to water sat down on the couch i had a headache and my eyes hurt bad like sand in them . these led burnt my eyes . keep in mind i have a lot of lights 20/20 room . so the led did a great job being mixed with hps my situation not going to go blind to save a few watts .

wow, really. I didnt think they would do that. You spent alot of time in there probably when that was happening? Possible you could have put a few work light in there and turn off the leds while working on them.
But if they were not producing there is no point.

I'm happy with mine. Going to ad a few things tho, just to help with flowering. I got almost 0,7 gram per watt, and that's just the good bud. Over nine ounces plus slightly over three in popcorn and trim. This is off of 3 plants. It obviously lacks a bit in flowering but with a little supplementing, this should be no issue.
The current grow with this 900 watt light looks like it's going to produce a bit better. The plants are twice as big than in the previous. They went from this

to this

in 10 days in the current grow. And had to be moved to a bigger tent.

The bud from the previous was good quality, dense, dank and sticky.
