My Finished Durban Poison Product

these are the results of my second grow.
i used a 400 watt hps with reflector, no glass sheild for the first 4-5 weeks.
i borrowed it from my homie and he had to take it back around then....

today was week 7. day 49 and i decided to harvest.

the last two weeks for flower, i used 2 300/63 watt cfl big bulbs that give off 4,200 lumens each w/ red spectrum.
i also had 4 42 watt cfl -white
and
1 70 hps area light, i ghetto rigged from home depot for 50 bucks. which gave off 6,300 lumens.

it weighed out to be 102.2 grams in wet weight
so if you take away about 75% thats about 25 grams.

i love durban poison's fan leaves
rose/purple/red color
soooo beautiful

i used age old grow and flora nova for nutes

I don't like many sativas, but Durban is one of my favorite all time smokes. Nice grow, those buds look proper

Wasnt the flower for those like 11 weeks? Im wondering if the buds wouldhv gotten fatter.

ive been hearing different times all over the place.
im sure as hell they could have swollen sooo much fatter but im still satisfied for my second grow

the harvested pic looks like a lot more than 25g!!

u grow just 1 plant at a time? or are you growing different strains as well

i know, dont the buds look amazing. i wish they were that fat cured for at least two weeks.

that picture is taken in wet weight right after i clipped it....unfortunately

i kinda set up a sea of green.
that durban was my second plant ive ever cropped out so i consider it one grow.

i got three in flower right now.
oldest to youngest....
Rocky Mountain Indo Kush--I bought this from an old homie in high school, its looking amazing but i cant find any genetics on it. he says its 100% indica. i can only think itd be aurora indica but who knows...

my second oldest is my roommates, its a lavendar soma #10 -- appartently most purp strain on the planet, but ours is greeen as fuck. look damn good and tall

youngest is Colorado Cough- Genetics....Cross F1 strain between Northern Lights #5 and Haze #10
mainly sativa, i vegged it for only 2weeks tops and put it into flower and its freakn tall after bein in flower for 2 weeksish

i couldnt help it, today i microwaved a few tiny buds off the duban thats been drying since i posted and smoked some....
taste was good but not that cured taste off course, but the high....everyone says its true....high, not stone. 100% sativa forsure.

but now i promise meself im not touching anymore til its completely cured

Hey BBQ. Glad you posted on the Durban. I've got some seeds popping now and I'll move a few girls outside when they are ready. It looks like upit girl stayed short inside. How tall was she at the end of veg and before you chopped her? Thanks, and rep fo reply.

it did stay very short for it being straight sativa. i kept lights very close to it in veg. only cfls.
it was a tad shorter than it was in those pictures before i put it into flower. about 14 inches.
it was about almost 2 feet when i chopped it

I had 10 of 10 durban seeds pop. I am pumped. I also have Big bud and white widow coming up now. Here is my current grow under 2x400's.

I can't wait to get that Durbin growing strong so I can have some bitches growing outside this summer. I want to have some monsters this summer. Stay tuned.

smoke report: has that fruit loop, trix, licorice taste on the inhale. the exhale similar, but that homegrown, organic taste. along with a hashy aftertaste. its like after dipping your finger in keiff and licking it.
the high is amazing and all i can say is you get so high, you get stoned, but it isnt a floored stoned. very uppity.
SO FAR, FAVORITE STRAIN TO GROW AND SMOKE

sounds like a good strain,i have a chocolate thai x durbon poison hope its turns out as good as you described

Yeah I got my durban poison through the attitude bank. I grew mine year ago. It grew bigger , and flowered faster then any of my other plants. I loved the taste. everyone that I gave it to loved it, definitely licorice taste. Big buds, not super heavy, but reminded me of pop corn. the package said, "grows good under artificial light".

Yeah man i had 1 of these beans as well grew her up took some cuts and then flowered her, after smoking her i was glad i took some cuts coz i'm on the verge of cutting the 2nd wave down very nice sweet smoke decent yield sugar coated buds and very nice high all in all very popular gear so yes she's going in again shortly.
