I have read About it, and I've seen pictures with up to 11 but never had one myself. Does anyone know why this happens? I have 11 other plants all from the same mother but this is the only one with 9 finger leafs on it.

I know dude :) I'm smoking some Silver Haze and forget everything haha. Read about 11 fingered leaves and thought for some reason you said you had 11 lol

Thanks, I love being that high! Super silver haze was one of my favorite strains. I can't smoke sativas anymore, they make me really dizzy and feel sick for some reason, it sucks!

I thought it had less to do with genes and more to do with the rate at which cells are dividing at the growing tip. Genes definitely pose a lot of expressions represent the phenotypes; such as the serrated edges of the leaves, type of leaves, type of flowers, shapes, smells, leaves coming off stem or branch, However the number of leaves, not so sure about that.

Shit man that does suck.. Have you ever tried mixing a small amount of Sativa back into your Indica mix? Build it up bit by bit :)

Cells only divide at the embryonic regions at the meristems they then enlarge, differentiate, and elongate. The vast majority of growth that is seen day to day is the result of elongation and maturation of cells rather than the mitosis/ division thats going on.

Marc is that with pure sativas? sat heavy hybrids? like skunk is saying maybe you can hopefully slowly work sats back in?

Im with chucky i think it's how mature the plant is, the longer you veg and more growth is appearing the more likely the fans will end up with more claws.
