Are fox farm organic? I don't know anything about them.

You can use it when you see or even think you see some problems developing. It's just not necessary when the plants are thriving.

The runt will get covered up by the others if it doesn't make close to the same height. May not be worth saving a runt or buying anything extra. If you hve any extra buckets around you can put it in and see if it just wants to be alone! LOL!

Do you have Fox Farm Hydro nutes? They are different from soil nutes. I've used FF nutes on both my grows, they seem to be mild and easy going on the plants. I even use them for my Aero Garden Petunuas. Seem to be ok.

they can be used for both soil or hydro and they have been great. and we had 2 res'es b4 so being that we did we moved the 3 plants into the one res but it didnt work out cus the other 2 plants have roots in the water and as soon as we put the pump in there its fine but then 2 hours l8er the manifold is clogged. so basically we busted the other res back out and seperated it from the other 2 plants since its roots havent hit the water. no problems since the other day. smells gone and they are all looking awesome i will take pics tomm i would take some now but i got busted with harvest from my last grow and now im gettin drug tested so iv been drinking a 12pack a day and im being lazy

and by the way the fox farm nutes are actually awesome because they are not ph balanced and i know it kinda sucks because our ph always goes up....but its very minor dayly to the point where i have to use like a few drops of ph down every day...but it works cus when we do a drain and replenish and add the nutes with the correct amount the ph ends up being 6.0 every time. because the fox farm nutes lower the ph....so i never have to buy ph up ....just ph down...cus as they eat the nutes it goes up and we just lower it a bit. they are great.

we moved the pump with the plant that hasnt hit the water yet to a seperate res. the one with the 2 big ones has just the air pumps.

I said that! It just seems that if there is a runt of the litter (dogs, cats) I always end up giving it special attention! You removed it from the area to see if it would thrive, right! LOL!

ahhhhh i see...ya we seperated it. and basically im not sure what happened i was told not enuf dissolved oxygen in the water and i immediately used hydrogen peroxide on them but i was alil l8 but still managed to save one....but was still alittle to late kept it alive but it wasnt worth keeping so i threw it out. but ya the moment u see something like that happening id say add another bubble strip and add some h2o2. cus that seemed to help and i havent had any problems since then

and also make sure to clean the hell outa ur pump if the res smells bad then deff follow rosemans recovery steps...cus that deff worked for me...basically hydro peroxide it clean the res out change the water. clean out ur pump and everything and also i heard its actually good to put hydrogen peroxide and water ina smaller res and take the plants that are effected out in them in the net pots all the way to the bottom of ur stem....basically stop about an inch below that and let them soak in it over nite. that way u get all the nastyness and disease outa the hydroton outa the net pots and off ur roots.

Yea I had 2 30 gallon air pumps and 2 8 inch stones. there was mad air flow. I had a tempature problem that i could not fixed and it forced me to transplant into a soil-less mix.
check it out in my sig.

so were on 7 weeks and 2 days total....heres some new pics gettin some of those bud sites :) by the way the roots finally hit the water on the right res(the runt) but ima leave the pump for another day or two cus they are barely touching the water. and we topped them all and u can already see it working :-) never actually topped a plant before but it was deff easier than i thought...wanna see how much it ends up helping but there is deff two bud sites growing outa the top now instead of just one woohoooo
