My first cfl/hps grow

Hey guys I just wanted to post an update on my first grow its a seed i got from some sour D. I started off using Cfl's I had laying around the house and came across a 400w hps unit for dirt cheap so here's a couple of pics comments good or bad are welcomed

Looks healthy...how far into flowering?

what's your setup? they look verrrry delicious.

I'm rite around 4 weeks I just got the hps last week I can see a difference between the 2 lighting systems I'm using.

...here's 4weeks w cfls...View attachment 2421055..28days today...View attachment 2421063....I'm liking the cfls....I know the hps is the way to go but I'm pretty impressed w these cfls so far....

Yea yours look Tony the Tiger Great lol I like the Cfl's especially since they were close to what I needed in lumen range but when I did some searching I found a sunsystem2, 400w Mh/Hps for $50 with new bulbs so I had to get it ya know haha anyway good luck on your grow an keep me posted.

Damn...50bucks...I woulda grabbed it too...still use ur cfls along w the hids

Oh yea defiantly btw what nutes are u using I'm thinking if doing ff big bloom or tiger bloom since I'm kinda already late in flowering.

i once grew a seed i found in a bag of sour d, it ended up throwing nanners about 2.5 weeks into flower... hope you have better luck bro

I've heard that happening I'm keepin a close eye on her for the moment

No nutes at all for mine hardly....some molasses n a taste of MG bloom booster bout every 2 weeks...top dress w a little compost once or twice too....mainly just water tho

Wow that's actually the exact same thing I'm doing I thought about doin foxfarm nutes but I'm growing in MG potting mix and the nutes are time released so i dont want to take the chance of burning them and Im using the MG bloom booster as well as molasses so hopefully Ill get some better lookin buds here I just got the mg booster an molasses so we'll see I'll keep u updated

I see buds.any buds are good buds they do look good btw.If it does hermie on you then you are blessed sir as you will have all the feminized seeds you can ask for! just quarantine the hermie so as to not pollinate the flowering room.but a hermie is always a good thing.saves you hundreds if not thousands in seeds!

@drgreenopolis you know i never thought of that, we'll I guess I'm good either way I see tons of little hairs and small buds forming

I'm using some Cfl's i had around the house around 2500k range and I also lucked up on a 400w hps/mh setup

So all seeds that come.from a Hermi plant are feminized?....some aren't herminized?

It's best to pollinate another female plant with hermie pollin as there is a much higher chance of the seeds being more prone to hermi
if they're grown on the same plant that was stressed out to produce the nanas.
