My first ego death...

Oh yes.. that loss of self, identity and your place in this world can be quite terrifying. But then yes, all seems to become clear, doesn't it? When I experience this I feel so detached from my world. Any activity that had taken place that day seems to be from another lifetime.. and another LIFE. Surely can put things into perspective.. it's really the only way I can truly look at things without any bias, preconceived notions or societal conforms..

It was weird because I felt like a snap and it was pitch black. No sounds. I thought I became separated from the universe. Like there was no more anything and I was off floating in nothing. Not space or time. But nothing. For a brief moment I wondered if this was "gods land" (I'm atheist) but then thought it couldn't be. And I was in nothing. It was quite enjoyable

Ahh, so you are getting closer to full ego loss, very close in fact, you will understand these words when you experience the observer dissapearing and only the observation remaining, and you will not realise it is happening until you get dropkicked back into your conciousness, and then you will miss it like a baby misses the womb. These experiences fold around you and build up like the layers of an onion.

Truly poetic, ANC.

Stevie, may I ask how you arrived into this blackness?

Best feeling you can get, That drug were you on?
The detachment to the world, the perceptive, make it one of the things to remember for the rest of your life.
How long was your experience?

Literally speaking I just turned all my lights off. The green light on my cable box snapped me back.

I went thru 48 chargers over the course of the night. My last one of the night luckily gave me this experience.

There is no thought

There is no thought...

Now you have an idea of where you are headed, you should be able to slip into meditation practice alot easier.
It always helps when one knows where you are headed.
