My first grow! (a frost strain)

haha that is what i figured! so from what u can see how do they look? stretched?

From the pic it seems a bit early for them to be in such a large pot, do you have any flo light you could put close so they don't stretch?

they are a week old today, my 400w mh is the only light i have until i can come up with some money to grab a 1000w setup at my local grow shop! and they are in jiffy discs planted in a one gallon pot of ffof

If they're rooted then the pot size that you transplant to is really of no concern. The reason that I came up with for gradually up sizing the pots is for conservation of nutrients and ease of flushing!

ok thanks so much! i started them as seeds in the jiffy discs then transplanted them into the 1 gal pots with ffof, at about three weeks old i should start giveing them nutes right? i plan on useing ff nutes and molasses!

to be honest with you I started very light nutes at like day 6-7 nothing significant but none the less nutes.

But, then too, I'm the type to push the envelope!!

ok so i just checked the plants! things are stretching so much! must i move the light closer? like a foot away? also i noticed on two or three of them the leaves are sprouting up like there is one inch of stalk between the feeder leaves and the seraided edge leaves??? is this severe stretching? i am going to do my best and take a picture of it and post it you guys tell me what you think! give me 10-15 mins also i have not watered since i transplanted them on thursday, so its been 3-4 days. is that normal soil still looks damp around the plants and the pots still have some heft to them, not like when i first added water and they were really heavy but not light like when they were dry either!

see how the leaves are growing up away from the feeder leaves? is this more stretching?

I can't really tell from looking at this picture
