My first grow. Looking for some feedback

My 1st grow and looking for some feedback on how it's doing
Set up:
-2x-cfl 23w 1600 lumens per bulb. With reflector
-Mg organic potting soil
-2x3 foot growing space with small fan running constantly and I open the door and use a bigger fan for about 4 hours per day during the light cycle ..by the way it's on a 18/6 light cycle ..
It's almost 4 weeks old. Seems like the growth has slowed considerably in the past week

need more light, those 2 cfl's won't cut it bro. mg organic choice by the way has no nutrients in the mix, you will need those too. get an hid light....

Dinner time for her I reckon. The fading lower leafs indicate she needs some nutes now...

And yeh, more lights; and she's going to love you even more!
Good job!

How many cfls would you guys suggest? The goal of this grow is to keep the cost low.
The seeds I got were from a dispensary and they were supposedly og bubba

more light and some better soil (with perlite or similar in it) would be stuff to consider for the future

right now it look a bit hungry, either Bc. there is`t more food left in the soil or you don't feed it enough or it don't have the right PH or it need Mg/Ca to take up the food

keep doing research and read some grow guides

Feel like a complete idiot on my soil choice. That's the reason I couldn't find a npk value on the bag lol
don't feel bad about the soil choice, you actually didn't do that bad. I've used mg organic choice before, it just doesn't have any added nutes or perlite in it. next time add some nutes and perlite. slipon has good suggestions for you, if you are on a budget use more cfl's you can get big 65 watters at lowes or home depot at 15 bucks each and are 4,000 lumens each. grab a few of those, they are 2700 kelvin in color and will suffice for the entire grow. try to have an average of 5,000 lumens per sq foot of grow space and keep em close to the plant

All right i will likely add a few of those bigger cfls and add nutes to my baby. I have a few other plants that have sprouted (bout 2 weeks old)

yea dont feel bad, my fist choice was super market soil 5$ a bag with a PH on 5,5-6,2 with to much peetmoss and no perlite

I like you found out about this stages, my solution was to make a repot to a bigger pot and add some lega nuts for drain and Lime for PH and on my next grow I got some Plagron Organic All mix with 20% perlite and a 6,5PH, even got so fare to mix my own super soil with stuff like Maerl/Lime, Kelp, blood/bone Meal, Epsom salt, Bat guano, Humus/acid´s/B12/worm casting aso aso aso.

also look in to coco or maybe Hempy pot`s, I like coco and plan on a hempy grow next round

about lights, yes you can get big CFLs with a ballast build in to them, as big as 300W I believe, go for them 150W-300W or some nice T5HOs if you absolutely want to go the fluorescent way or go for a MH/HPS a nice little 150W can do good on one plant, a 250W could maybe do two and a 400W or 600W is perfect for 4 or 1 Sq. meter of grow if you like, all depend on your goal ?
