My first grow. Stealth box T5.

Well this is my first attempt at ever growing. It's a tote disguised as a footrest that isn't too noticeable when its FULLY covered

This is my box design, it is pretty low quality but it was the best i could do, the project was kinda thrown on me.
I'm using two 2' 75W 1093 lumen 4200k soft white bulbs.




And these are my plants! They are 3 different bagseed, the only genetics i know in these is the afghan but im not sure which plan
that is. Right now they are 8 days old!

So what do you guys think?

Those arent Black Lights... are they??

No thats just the way my camera catches it Definitely not black lights.

Most people seem to recommend against using foil (looks like thats what you have) since it mainly reflects the infrared radiation rather than the visible light that the plant needs. Better to use flat white paint or mylar, I used those cheap emergency space blankets which you can get off ebay for about $1.

how far away are you keeping the light? how much heat does it put out?

Yeah right now im using foil It was the best I could do on such a small budget and without any idea i was about to start a grow

The light is about 1.5-2" away from the plants. Originally it was about 6 inches from the plants >_>

sorry im kind of dumb, lol, can you remind me if " is feet or inches? if that means inches you got em right where they need to be, if it means feet its way to far away.
