I've never attempted anything like this before. I got some seeds from a friend. No clue what strain. Im using 12 - 100watt (equivalent) CFL's on 18/6 for 52 days. I just switched them to 12/12. No clue of sex yet. So tomorrow will be "day 1" of Flowering. We will see how it goes! Take a look at my pics and tell me what you guys think!

Lookin good. Don't start counting your days until your plant shows sex.
So "day 1" might not be for another week or two yet.

Thank you for the responses. I have a lot of leaf tip curling and yellowing on the lower leaves specifically. Does anyone know what this may be attributed to? It does get pretty hot in this room during the day. Probably 90-95 max. Also, after browsing this site, it seems to me that the plants grow really fast for the first month or so during 12/12. Is this true? :peace:

are u giving them nutes? it could be nute burn, or light burn, but i wouldnt worry about it yet. if the leaves are drooping, give them some water.

ur plants will probably grow faster because u are starting to flower which means they will start to show sex.

I am giving them nutes dilluted in water. I cant remember off the top of my head what the NPK ratio is but I know I mix about 3 tbl spoons to every gallon and I give them a good watering about once every other week. I have the plants on a drip irrigation system which waters them for one minute every 8 hours (3 times/day). They are in 3 gallon pots and have two drip nozzles per plant. Does this sound like overwatering? Underwatering? I cant seem to figure out what is causing the leaf tip curling. To be honest, Im a little hesitant to change anything because I dont want to make anything worse. Is it normal that as plants age, the lower fan leaves turn yellow? 5/8's of the plants are a gorgeous green. It's just the lower parts Im worried about. I really appreciate anyone's help! :peace:

Here a few pics of the plants. Two of them are growing naturally and two of them are topped (one FIM'd). As you can see from the pics, one of the topped plants looks pretty shitty. Im not sure why... I have not treated this one any differently. Anyways... I'm almost positive one of them (the biggest and best one) is a female. Im using a camera phone so I cant get a good pic of the pre flowers. Also, the two natural ones I pruned using the "staircase method." Im not really sure if this was a good idea of not. It's where you cut every OTHER fan leaf off in circular steps around the plant. This is so the bud sites can receive more light. So.... Anywho... Take a look at the pics and let me know what you guys think of my first grow so far!

Went out this morning and what stood before me!? A BABY GIRL!!! WHOO!!!! I had to really look closely with a magnifier but there she was. I never thought I'd be so happy to see a little white hair! Hopefully the others will start showing within the next day or two!

3tbl spoons to every gallon? sounds like a bit too much to me from lookin' at the size of your plants. The highs in your temp range are pushin' it. More ventilation needed or something. Some of the leaves look really burnt.

But I havn't completed a grow yet so I might just be talkin' out my ass. Take into consideration what I said at your own risk(benefit)

Aside from the heavily burnt plant, the others are lookin' mighty fine. Try lowering the concentration of nutes on that burnt one for a lil' while (if you want) to see if it perks back up.

I will be getting ahold of a good camera a little later today and will be posting some new pics of the girls. They are only 13 days into flowering and are already covered in pistils! One plant is looking like a "hermie" but I've only located about 5 pollen sacks and have taken off every one, but the tops are covered in pistils. I have all my plants within inches of eachother. If I leave the hermie (which is about 90% female - 10% male) will it pollinate my other females? I DO NOT want any nuts on my girls. I rip the nuts off everytime I see one. I also heard that if you constantly mist the hermie, the pollen will be less likely to reach the other females. That true? Also... the question every newbie wants to have answered: How much do you think I will yield? My two tallest plants are about 2ft tall and are growing about an inch/day. Two topped plants about about 18" and are also growing really really fast. Any replies would be amazing!

Little photo update so you can se the progress of the flowering period. We are about 15 days into flower and everything seems to be going pretty well. They are growing really really fast right now. I started flowering when the biggest was about 18 inches. Now it's about 28 inches. The buds look pretty small as of now but Im assuming the will thicken up quite a bit more in the next month. How does everything look? Any advice?! Thanks! :peace:

What the hell does a guy have to do to get some replies?! Im getting a little scared that my buds are way too small. They are only 19 days in flower and I think they look good... just small. Check out my most recent photos. Let me know dammit!! :peace:

I guess this is a forum so I can document my grow SOLELY for myself. Thanks for nothin... Anyways... For whoever decides to read this, here are some more pics. I've began feeding them Green Light's SUPER BLOOM. It seems to be working great. All the plants (even the burnt one) are looking great. Take a look (camera phone).

Pic 1: Seems to be the most mature plant. Consistent 9 finger fan leaves.
Pic 2: Topped partial hermie
Pic 3: 2nd of the topped partial hermie
Pic 4: Topped plant that was burnt
Pic 5: 2nd of the topped burnt plant
Pic 6: Tallest and most healthy of the bunch
Pic 7: Another pic of my healthiest plant
Pic 8: The garden

Any replies would be great. :peace:

Here are a few more photo's (camera phone) of the buds. Looks like they are beginning to thicken up quite a bit and they are gettin pretty frosty. Im beginning to think I may have 2 different strains here because one of them is frosty and very mature looking (9 finger leaves) and the others have consistent 7 finger leaves and are still skinny buds. Who knows. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY COMMENTS I CAN GET!! How do they look? It's day 27 of flowering btw.

Oh and where can I get a magnifier? I have a 4x but it doesnt seem to be enough.
