My first grow

I trimmed most of the first leaves that were yellowing (the first and second sets). I then dried them. Then I fired them up I so stone I can hardly type. I don't know why everyone is saying there is no THC in there, but I'm buzzed off my ass. True I had to smoke about 4x the amount I'd smoke of bud. I kinda new this would work from one of the "Ask Ed" books I got at the used book store. It title is "Trash to Stash".

Note: I am so wasted I had to retype almost ever word I typed in this post. :joint:

No, it was real I got stoned about 3 times off these plants already.

I found the leaves that turn brown and cromble have little or no thc but the little yellow one you trim off and and are moist are nice.

I saw a thc chart on this sight that has a break down of thc levels in leaves and stims. It was higher than one would think. I think small leaves on male plants was the highest all most as high as low grade bud. My "Trash to Stash" book said the samething.

Todays growth is outstanding. I will most likely flower mid week.
I will mix my water for an am feeding. This will be the last grow mix. The next feed will be a transition then the next will be the flower mix.

Note: #6 the droopy one is in the rear left. I rotate 2 place every morning. After 1 week each plant has been in all 7 spots, they seem to like it.

I thought of a way to know when to transplant for my next grow.

My first plant will be in a clear plastic cup 16oz. I will put holes it the bottom for drainage.

Then I'll take a blue 16oz cup cut out the bottom and use the cup part as a sleave. This way I can look at the root and tell when it's time to transplant.

or I may use rockwool cubes.

You know that actually sounds like a pretty good idea!!!:hump: I think i mind end up using that! It would definetly make the process a little easier to judge!!

#4 grew 2 ¼” today.

I'm going to 12/12 soon. I need to deside how much dark period to give them and on/off times. I will do 8 or 32 hours of dark that way I can run the light from 8am to 8pm. I'll have to do some more light profing as where I live it's day light for 16ish hours.

I think I let 4 and 6 grow to close to the 400watt light. about 5" & 6" close. The top 4" of each Droop or wilted the rest of the plant is fine. I raise the light 4 chain links about 6". I might go more in the morning, they are a sleep now.

I think I'll come home on my lunch hour and turn the lights off. Then back on at 8am Wed. That will give 20 hours of dark to kick off the flower stage. I don't think I could go any longer without looking at them. Sometimes I just like to set and stare.

I'll get some new cfl's @ 2700k for side lighting after work. I'll trade these after the lights come on on wed.

I'll trade the mh conv. for my yard sale 430 watt hps when I turn off the lights at noon. Friday is pay day so I'll order the hps that I like then. I'll use the one that came with all the yard sale stuff for about a week and a half until the new bulb gets here.

Friday I'll get the bloom nuts from the hydro shop. Sat I'll give them a transition mix. That should be the next water that is not just plan H2O. I'm watering every 3 days with every other I give them some food.

I hope I did f-up 4 & 6, the bottom 4/5's or so look fine. Poor #6 I've messed ever thing up on it. I think thats the one that I over watered then cook 1/3 of the leaves when it dried out. Yell the leaves just crunched up.

But that still leaves 5 that have not had any big issues.

Honestly i would start to LST the taller ones so that you can keep an even canopy, therefore giving all the plant the same attention from the light....also i would suggest giving them 24-36 hours of dark b4 you flower. I have done some reading and it has givin proven results in growth and starting the plant into flowering with a little extra kick. I'm going to try it and see how it goes.
good luck and there are a few thread on hear that talk about the dark b4 flowering.

I think I have enough growing height so I'm not doing LST, I have the short ones on blocks of wood so the tops are about the same height now. I also rotate the positions every day so each paint after 1 week is in every spot. I've found the center spot is the best.

Good news #4 and #6 were ok when I got up today. They are in a dark period so I will try to put up pics in a day or so.
