My first grow

Hi everyone! I am brand new to growing and actually started inadvertently about June 1st after tossing some bag seed over my shoulder while in my yard. A couple weeks later I discovered little plants growing. I have been nurturing them and learning about this exciting and fulfilling new obsession of mine. I have 2 plants in 10 gallon pots outside. The 2 have had different growth and appearance from early on. They are now flowering but the bigger, fuller plant is lagging behind the thinner, smaller plant. Should I be concerned? I think we're in week 3 or 4 of flowering but I'm seeking confirmation of this from you guys. Thanks!

I could be wrong but your bigger one looks indica Dom. Which can take long for sure, in any case all strains take a different amounts of time to flower, so no real concern I can see

They both look healthy, man. They may be exhibiting different phenotypes. Are they both blown down trees or what? Lol

They're tied down. Im in town with neighbors close by in an illegal state. Nervous too.

Yeah bro I understand that! They're definitely some trees! They'll get way bushier completely horizontal like that. You don't even need to train that thing, maybe FIM it and watch it turn into a monster.
I would recommend trellis netting though. It will help support that bitch when it weighs a pound.

FIM? And what is scrogging? I just tied them down last week. Do they appear to be about week 3/4 in flowering?

Possible, but even the same style of strain can grow different times

FIMing is pinching or clipping off the ends of the growth tips to produce 4 new main growth tips from that one.
Scrogging is placing square netting over your plants to let them grow through, then you tie down all new growth to the netting until it's full. This creates a solid, even canopy. Clip everything under the canopy that receives no light.

Very cool, thank you! I just read about topping (?) last night and i reacall fimming now...Fuck, I Missed, right? Its a lot of information to take in, especially for an aging hippie. Its too late for me to do that now though, right? Not during flowering since shes not making stems any more? And scrogging sounds like something I will look in to. I just attempted in indoor spot for the 15 (oh shit! thats more than i want!) 6 week olds I have. They seem to be doing well but I prefer an outdoor setup.

Damnit, you're right! I forgot about them flowering! Definitely don't FIM (fuck I missed!) Right now. They'll still be some beasts on their own.
