I have heard some nice things about that Sweet Tooth.. Who are you gonna order from?

I might go ahead and pop an Acapulco Gold seed if this one plant flips on me.
Thinking about trying BC Seed King....Their prices are good and shipping is cheap. I just wish they had that God Bud. I have been wanting to try that forever. I have smoked it, but never grown any.

I watered the 3 Girls this morning with same feed as last time. I might work on upping the dose for next week.

20120804_074444.jpg20120804_073542.jpg

2 Liter Clone in Flower is still working his way to the Res, so he's just Chillin ;-) .. This one along with the two clones in Mini Hempy Veg are still getting about 200 ppm (.5) using the formula on the GH Bottle. 2 Liter gets water daily, and Veg Clones every other day.

20120804_074018.jpg

New Clones look good. I thought I was going to lose a few, but it no longer looks like I am going to lose any of them. Today is their one week mark, so I will start checking for roots in the next couple of days.

20120804_070513.jpg

Clones in Veg are also still working on finding their way to the res, so not much going on here.

Hey guys.
I have a question for you Rusty. The one you say may be a hermie, does it have female flowers ? It is hard to tell in the photo...

Yes, the pre-flower hairs are on higher nodes, but I did not take any pics of them, until the other guys on my Sick Plant post started crying that they could not see pistols, so I took picks for them to see I was not lying.

Here they are

I could not deny it any longer and Pulled the Gimp and Trashed her yesterday. Too bad, she was growing so well!! The other girls are not showing any signs of balls, but I continue to check and will check again this morning during their water time.

Well as mentioned in Previous Post, the GIMP is NO MORE. :sad:

Good news is that the other two ladies are still ball free :-P and looking very nice.

Kept feed the same and will probably inch up on the next feeding

2.5ml PH UP | 5ml CalMag + | 6ml Floromicro | 12ml Florobloom

PH = 5.92
PPM = 960 (.5) EC - 1.9

We are now in our second week of 12/12

20120806_073925.jpg20120806_073937.jpg

Looks like 2 Liter Clone in Flower has hit her res, so I will cut back from feeding daily to when the res dries up. Not sure how long that is just yet, so we will see. I will also start to Up her nute strength on the next watering. She is getting GH 3 Part Bottle instructions at this point, so I will be curious to see if CalMag is needed with their 3 Part mix. I will also be curious if she starts to flower at this point. So far she has not popped any pistils.
20120806_072006.jpg20120806_072014.jpg

New Clones have started to sprout roots. We counted 5 or 6 with roots so far, which puts us right on schedule with the last batch of clones (8-9 days till roots)
20120806_074019.jpg

These two clones seem to have also just started getting into their res.. They are perking up and starting to come to life.
20120806_074032.jpg

Then there's Auto,, She has been in recovery for the last few days.. I flushed her, then fed her RO Water with CalMag at 200 PPM on the next watering, and Today with CalMag and 1/4 Strength Nutes at 400ppm. She seems to be coming back, so we should see her start to perk up,, and get to finishing up those buds.

It seems that every day is becoming water day around here, but I want to keep my updates on the plants I started this thread with, so I can finish it out with them.

The two girls continue to look good. The heat has been blazin this week and I think I am seeing some signs of it, in the form of Slightly Yellow Tips. This being the case, I brought the CalMag back just a little and kept everything else the same
2.5ml PH UP | 3.75ml CalMag | 6ml Micro | 12ml Bloom
PH = 6.0
PPM = 918 (.5)
20120808_073341.jpg20120808_073452.jpg20120808_073503.jpg

I saw my first White Hairs on the 2 Liter in Flower today :-P, so I guess she is off and running, and that's no Surprise, she has absolutely take off over the last few days. This means it took 11 Days since transplanting her into the 2 Liter bottle, and moving her directly into 12/12. Wonder what will happen next :?: I also increased her nute strength today.. Instead of using the ratio on the bottle, I only went half their recommendation, and that basically doubled the PPM from last week.
2.5ml Micro | 2.5ml Grow | 2.5ml Bloom | 18 Drops PH UP
PH = 5.94
PPM = 429
20120808_073353.jpg20120808_073431.jpg

New Clones are continuing to show more roots every day. We are still waiting on 4 to show us a root, and we will have our 100% ratio. I am sure this will happen cause all 4 that we are waiting on look VERY healthy and standing straight up. I want to transplant all of them into their Hempy Cups in another week or so.
20120808_073520.jpg

Clones in Cups are doing fine. They too have a Slight bit of Yellow Tips on their new growth, but look GREAT otherwise. I am also concerned the heat is a factor in the Yellow Tips. They have been getting fed every other day with the same nute mix. Although with the Temps being up there, they seem to be drying out faster, so I am considering watering them daily. I am also considering going back to some vermiculite to help with this sort of thing.
20120808_073537.jpg

And the Auto seems to be picking back up and doing her thing. She still has about 3 weeks to go, so I guess we will see what happens.

Hey Rusty, Too bad about the male. Besides the 16 I pulled the other day, I discovered 3 more from a new mom that is really a dad I guess. They were nice plants too. That only leaves me with my PPPlants. I have some other potential ladies I am training to be mums, but their babies are not big enough to prove themselves yet.

Your other ones are looking good !!

Man it was rough having to trash one plant, I could not imagine having to trash over 16 :sad:.. I got Feminized seeds to avoid this problem, so go figure, at least I have a ButtLoad of clones to back me up..

Working on Dehumidifying the room a little more somehow. I cant really use my Dehumidifier cause it just puts out more heat, and the air conditioner is not really bringing the humidity down enough. So this is my new task..

Keep us posted on progress!! We want to see a Come-Back :leaf:

LOL It was more than 16 when you include the mum and her new clones and those in the veg room. She was a female before I revegged her and made her a mum. Go figure.

The newest ones were from a bag of skunky. I thought I would pop a few and take a few clones to see what happens. Those last 3 I mentioned did not bother me because I had a 50/50 chance, but those others really pissed me off, because a she turned into a he and hurt my numbers. I don't worry about humidity as much as others do. I keep an oscillating fan on in the flower room 24/7. Also I keep a small one oscillating on the floor where I hang the finished ones. No problems yet....

I have so much room on my table vs last round I really don't need to defoliate this time. I'm even letting the branches grow out to get a little more out of them.

Heat stress sucks, I've been dealing with it all summer, not much you can do about it if you can't crank up AC. All you can do is raise the lamp a little and keep up with the water.

Everything looks really though.

Yep, I decided today that I should probably start watering daily. I think they might be getting a little too dry with this heat wave and I am noticing the slightest bit of Tip Burns on the New Growth,, and considering they have been getting the same feed for the last two weeks, I have a hard time thinking this mix is too hot for them.

I have the Air Conditioner running, so I am keeping the temps somewhat in check, but the humidity is all over the place. Its getting up to 65%, then I can get it down to 56%, but its just bouncing, and I dont want to put the Dehumidifier in there, cause that is just going to add more heat.

Yep,, Getting interesting now!!!

Thanks for Checking IN :peace:

Today as I was clearing out the cuttings from the latest failed bag seed skunk mum experiment, I noticed that I have a LOT of cuttings that will help me make the comeback. The 6 day olds that I trashed had roots. All 13 of them !!! I have a bathtub almost full of proven PPP's and a handful of new skunk bag seed cuts to test. I took 18 more PPP cuts last night. As of July 28 I went back to cloning in perlite "micro hempies". My DWC/Hempy experiments are on hold until I get back on track....

I am coming back with a vengeance !!

Another feeding Day.. Since I am going to be stepping up the feed to daily, I probably wont update everyday, unless something needs to be updated.

The girls seem to be doing well. Our Temps and Humidity have been running just a little higher than I would like them to be. This being the case, I dropped the feed down a little, by going back to a 0-5-10 mix with full CalMag, and brought the PPMs down to 841 (.5). I want to see how they react before doing anything further.
20120810_072855.jpg

NLxBB is showing that slight bit of Tip Burn on the new Growth and its pissing me off a little. Other than that, her Tops are growing tall and strong, and the 4 of them have started to spread apart from each other, as Uncle Ben's said they would,, and allow light down the center of the plant, but they are spreading a little more than I like, so I used a piece of garden twine and tied a couple of the tops branches, then pulled them tight so it brought them in a bit.
20120810_072725.jpg20120810_072743.jpg

Fruity Chronic is really looking good and holding her shape.. She has not spread as much as the other, and her leaves are a little more abundant.
20120810_072844.jpg

Clone in Flower is doing very well and starting to actually flower. She looks little lime green, so I am upping her feed to 3/4 Strength of bottle Veg recommendation.
3.75ml Grow | 3.75ml Micro | 3.75ml Bloom | 20 Drops PH Up
PH - 5.88
PPM - 523 (.5)
20120810_072905.jpg

Veg Clones mix strength went up today as well. They are getting transplanted this weekend into their 3 Gallon Buckets.
20120810_072912.jpg

New Clones have ALL Shown roots as of today, so that basically started on day 8 and finished on day 13, with 100% Success rate so far. They will all go into Hempy Cups this weekend and put under a couple of CFLs

Transplant Day!! Well I actually transplanted yesterday. It has been 2 Weeks, and All 15 Clones and the Two in Veg were given new homes.

Here are the Clones now in their Hempy Cups. I need to figure out my lighting, cause they will need a little more I think, although I do not want them to grow too fast, cause I have a few weeks to go
20120812_073311.jpg

Here are the two clones (1 Fruity Chronic Juice and 1 Northern Lights x Big Bud) that have been moved to their new permanent 3 gallon buckets, and move to the lower section of the tent for more light. I also need them to take their time growing, so I am not going to water every day, if I dont have to.
20120812_073320.jpg

The 2 Liter Clone that went straight into flower is flowering very nicely so far. All of her nodes are forming budlets, and I am looking forward to seeing what she does, but she sure seems happy. I have been watering her daily cause the heat has really been drying things up.
20120812_073405.jpg20120812_073413.jpg

The Two big girls are budding up nicely as well.. We have started our 3rd week of flower today. Fruity Chronic has a couple of leaves that are bending in strange ways, which I am pretty sure is the heat and humidity fluctuations, but if anyone has any input, I would be happy to hear it. I have been watering daily now, and also dropped the CalMag down to half dose and kept the Micro & Bloom the same. This brought my PPM's down to 760 (.5).. The tip burn still has me a little concerned, but I have been dropping the PPM's over the last couple of days, so I hope to see some improvement here soon. Other than that, they seem quite happy. The leaves pray to the light and aren't droopy. I am a little concerned that they look stretched a little, but not sure.. I would actually like cut some of the lower growth off.. They are just sucker shoots, and quite frankly, they are just in the way, but I am concerned about the ramifications of doing this.

These are the Leaf issues on Fruity Chronic mentioned above

Nice update rusty...

As far as trimming, I'd say go for it, I do my last undercarriage trim during the 3rd wk, but won't touch them if at all possible from the beginning of 4 on. It doesn't seem to slow them down much, I usually start near the end of wk 2 and in 3 increments trim up the lower 3rd to half.

I wouldn't worry about the twisty leaves, they look green and healthy. Plants will do weird things with their leaves I've seen 2 different plants fans fight for light position. Start to be concerned if you see spots, discoloration, holes or serious damage.

You have to remember that the strains we are growin' these days are such genetic messes that they will do strange shit for no apparent reason.

Keep up the good work.

It won't hurt a bit to cut that lower stuff off. You know I am a defoliator, right ? LOL Some people cut all of the fans off at day 21 and 45 and some just cut the lower one third off and leave the fans. I do it whenever I feel it is needed. After reading this I may go in there and whack them for the hell of it...

Okay,, Lets do an Update on the Girls in Flower

Last Monday I flushed the two big ladies with a half gallon of RO Water, and started up again the next day with a Low PPM Mix of 470 (.5) and watered the same today. I want to make sure I am over the Tip Burn issue before bumping them back up a little (if they even need it). But their buds are looking good, and I am just hoping that I am over the stretch now, cause I am just about out of room with the Light. I have a few more inches to go before I will have to lower the table, but I think the grow has stopped/slowed,, Although this might also be a reaction to the flush and lower nute strength.
20120816_072202.jpg20120816_072151.jpg20120816_072143.jpg20120816_072132.jpg20120816_072215.jpg

The 2 Liter Clone that was put into flower recently showed what looks like a Mag Deficiency just getting started, so I bumped up her feed from 500PPM to 700PPM and made sure to include 1/4 Strength CalMag. I was a little concerned about jumping her up 200PPM, and have been monitoring her all day yesterday for any signs of problems, but no issues that I was able to notice, so I fed the same today. You can see that she is also budding up, and I am just sitting back and waiting to see what happens.
20120816_072243.jpg20120816_072251.jpg20120816_072300.jpg

All other clones and veg clones are doing very well. Tomorrow is their water day, so I will take pics and post those tomorrow as well, including the Auto Norther Lights Blue, whom should be getting ready to finish up here pretty soon. I guess I should also start to flush her soon too.
