It does not stink, the nutes are dark in the bottle, but not once they are diluted in the soup. Its weird they were pure white yesterday and so brown now, I increased the dosage slightly.
I just re-read and seen your using AN. I wouldn’t worry about it, when I used AN grow, micro, bloom my roots looked like that too. You can kind of wipe some of the brown off and see the roots are still healthy under

Things are looking better today. I have to assume it was from the nutes. Plants are thriving and the roots are getting much whiter. As long as things hold up I will begin mainlining this weekend. I have hydrogaurd on order and will add it to the regimen. I didn't think it was needed if I run a chiller but it will be cheap insurance. I also ordered some calmag as the Northern Lights is yellowing a bit between the veins. Thanks everyone for your help.

Don't add calmag. Those look very healthy. New growth will be lighter, and will darken over time. I wouldn't bother with hydroguard, unless you see an issue. If you can grow without needing it, it's better...and saves ya noney :)

Wow I haven't updated in a long time so if anyone is interested here i go. My grow phase has been extremely long, I blame this on training and mainlining. I couldn't top the nodes before they would let me. I will probably not use this technique again unless the results are amazing. My plants are doing well and I have bumped nutes up to full strength as recommended by AN. Growth has increased quickly since I have done this. Here are some pics.

I switched to 12/12 yesterday and will hopefully be harvesting in 8 weeks. I'll shoot some more pics when the buds are coming in. Any questions or comments are always welcome.

Do you have your micro screens closed? They work really well for intake.
yes they are right now. I was trying to keep the humidity up but thanks for reminding me, I should start reducing the humidity in the tent.
