Man that is really good, im guessing you have a background in would working.
Thats what I do. I ran the wood shop at College for creative studies and worked at some of the area museums. I went to school for graphic design but that blows, lol

hmm i am dreaming of ... cabinets,,, with power vents and all the goodies...
lol Its funny. for me to grow I had to have a stealth set up. I have people in and out of my shop, always looking at my latest project. I couldn't afford to make anything nice and have it screutinized, so I grabbed this entertainment armoire out of the trash, lol. I scratched it up and threw paint on it, installed cabinet locks, drove screws on the outside to hang tools an shit on . It took about two hours to make a serviceable, secure growcab. I'll post some pics of it. I really like it. I designed some fully adjustable cfl fixtures to make and install. I haven't seen any that work as well or are as simple so I guess I should make time, and build and post pics in a diy fashion.

HAHAHAHA oh jesus christ chicken i just read my post and i was wondering what i was doing the other night while i was drunk. The answer was replying to this thread when i was drunk as fuck, misspelling would - for wood.
College is tough this semester.

You seem to be very creative chicken, do you sell this stuff you make? You should get into some stealthy dressers for growing, im sure online you can sell these for apartment grows and such, even dorms and shit. If they can sell pc grow boxes you should have no problem bro.

Thats all I do is repair, conserve, restore and build furniture and related wood items. Lol I knew what was up. I've read enough of your posts to know that you may have been slightly askew at the time lol. Heres a swivel chair I made awhile back.

You really should post pics of that Armoire you were talkin about. I have one that im tryin to rennovate and would love to get some ideas from your work. Cheers

thats some really sweet stuff. I couldnt make that furniture.. but i am working on building long boards by vacume squeezing 5+ thin layers of assorted wood together with glue.. and at the same time concaving it with a foam mould. its pretty sweet but is too cold to work with it right now :o

This idea for you to make custom grow boxes would be a very good idea

Ah, your working with a vaccuum press. Are you using a venturi or a vaccuum pump. If u need any information on vaccuum bending, or steam bending, or laminate bending, I'm fairly well versed, having experience in all three methods. U may also want to rethink using foam as a substrate for a bending form, I know it's done, but there are less expensive more reliable ways to do this.

I've always loved furniture design. Do you know / have you seen some of the stuff designed by Wendell Castle? I met him a while back when I was taking a sculpture class -- my Sculpture professor had a show with him in Rochester, NY. A little later, I was back at RIT, and he had some stuff exhibited in one of the art school's galleries. Your designs remind me of his stuff, with a slightly more traditional twist. I like it. Check out my art thread (once it's posted) -- I'm going to take a few minutes and write one up with some of my various works.
