so this here is my grow tent and its real small well decent. and i just canceled my order with HTG. i was going to order 400w mh and hps. but i think the heat would be too extreme for this small tent. so now i'm deciding to go with a 150w hps. for 3-4 plants max. on 2g pots. the only thing i need is help selecting 150w hps w/ everything. plus i wanna order it from here - http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/index.php

my goal is heading towards 3-4 plants on 1.5 -2g pots. looking for a small yield. like 3-4ft. tall. nothing amazing.

a 400 wouldve been great......As long as you have a nice exhaust fan and air circulation you should b coo.....Youll be kickin yourself in the ass later for getting the 150 w...400 will give u an appropriate amount from jus three plants especially a switchable ballast.,,, plus you could throw them in 3 gallons for larger buds...

dude dont get a 150 you might as well be useing floresents. no fence guy useing them lol 400 should be fine but if you have to go any lower dont go lower than 250 but PLEASE use a 400 just buy a air cooled hud or cooltub and vent the air out. the two best 400 watts out there in my OP are HPS hortilux super 400w and the solarmax super hps 400w both push out a impressive 55000 intial lumens. THE ONE PLACE YOU DONT WANT TO SKIMP on is LIGHTING. after those ones you have you lucalox hps with 41000 int lumens, sunlux hps with 50000 int lumens along with your lumalux and cermalux both with 50000 int lumens.

well 400w is out of question. i will reconsider when i get a bigger room/place then i will use them. i hear that 250w produces a lot more heat than 150w. and 150w doesn't produce any heat at all. idk some weird about the tent. like the tent produces heat itself or something idk. or my temp monitors or wrong. i might have to buy more temp monitors that are different sorts. in any case. i can do 2x 150w which is like 300w total. i prefer doing that. cause again something is wrong with the tent or it is my temp monitors. its pretty chilly/cool right now and it says its 78 degrees. i don't get that. in any case. i don't want any amazing weed or w/e. i just rly wanna start growing and later overtime when i get the room/place. i will then use monster lights and everything lol. but for now 150w. i seen someone here pull some decent nugs on 3 trees from 150w. i wanna start low then make my way up.

it says.... Dual.....can i hook up 2x 150w hps ?

i used that exact same tent for my first indoor grow and used a 600 watt hps air cooled with a 450 cfm fan kept temps around 85-90 on hot days, it was summer though anyways if that tent is 2x4 a 150 watter will get it to about 70 degrees with some good circulation

thanks for replying. the tent size is 36x20x62. can fit about 4x 2g pots w/ fan inside.

would you be able to tell me which type of 150w bulbs should i get. here the only 3 options

i didnt look at your post but go with hortilux if they make them for 150 watters, if not go buy a bulb at home depot they are just as good

My space is no bigger than yours and with an air cooled hood I never get warmer than 5 degrees above ambient. I'm running a 250w HPS.

well i'm planning to go with 150w hps. and if i can ill fit another 150w hps so it'll be 2x 150w hps. if i get small hoods that'll fit both together or w/e
