my growing questions in a nutshell

so... here i am, living in the pacific northwest (washington), and i would very much like to grow some pot!

here is what im thinking... i already have a few seeds, and i can get more from friends, of various sorts, at this point i am not too picky about the kind of bud i grow, i just want to grow me some because i have been wanting to for a while, and also, bud around here is getting ridiculous. average shit sells 20 bucks for 1.7 grams if you get lucky. im tired of giving my life away just to get high. so im thinking about starting my plants indoors for a few weeks to a month to veg. is this a good idea? ideally, what would be the perfect time to germinate the plants so i could get a fairly early harvest?

that was the first series of dumb questions... now i have more... once i put my plants outdoors, i am thinking of doing a few things. i am thinking about putting them all in seperate pots, instead of the ground. good idea or no? also, would building a small shed or at least roof out of clear corrugated plastic be a good idea (since i AM in washington, and it DOES rain)? i have about 2 acres of forest with a stream, very dense, and moist, hard to navigate woods, with a few small random clearings, and also a small portion of more brush-ish area. most of my regular planting area would be very moist, right nest to a stream... would it be better to plant the plants in the midst of the brush field where it would be drier or should i plant in a clearing next to the stream?

well now that was a mouthful.:peace:

Planting in pots is a good idea if you need to move them alot or you want to know exactly what nutes are in your soil/growth medium. Personally i would plant them close to the stream but this depends on if your watering them etc. Also plant somewhere they will get alot of light. Rain isnt normally a problem if they are an outside strain so i wouldnt bother about the clear plastic. Peace

well i live probably north of where you do, so where i live it rains a bit, but still, in the summer, you gotta love that sun. im guessing it rains maybe once every few weeks in the heat of summer if its a good summer. but we both westsiderz 4 lyf. haha um this is like gay weed the crap dealers around here are like, "hey man this is 25 bucks for a dub dude, its straight blueberry so i weighed it out to 1.8" which is bad enough and then they lie about it and weigh it out for even less sometimes, and the weed doesnt look, taste, or feel any different than bud that is a little better than average. mostly its unnamed bud we get around here. does anyone have experience growing outdoors in washington or british columbia? its pretty much the same climate. oregon is similar too, as well as idaho. i know barely anyone cool lives in washington so yea
