My Homemade makeshift Greenhouse

Hello folks!

Just wanted to share my makeshift greenhouse made from all recycled "scrap" materials. Measures 9 feet wide, 20 feet long, stands 6 feet tall.

I used pallets for most of the walls, ran out so had to finish using scrap corrugated tin (painted inside flat white). Took broken "free" pallets, made good ones from them, use remaining leftover wood for firewood.
Went to local nursery to buy their "used" nursery plastic, once told what I'm doing, got plastic for free.
used scrap 4X4 posts for wall support
Cut "hinged vents" in various locations allowing me to open or close vents as needed for ventilation.
Covered top & 1/2 the sides with nursery plastic.
Then "enclosed" entire outside enclosure using old scrap fence to enhance "security".

Total cost: about $25 (for gas to gather stuff)

NOW DON'T LAUGH CUZ I KNOW IT AIN'T THE PRETTIEST THING...BUT... IT WORKS & MY GIRLS LOVE IT. the girls 7 19 13 003.jpg
