Indoor grow, LED, Temp 65-75 F, FF happy frog mix, rainwater, no nutes yet
The brand new leaves are neon green and the older leaves are super dark. Older and newer leaves are twisting and funky looking
Pics attached, take a look and let me know what y'all think.

I water maybe every 5 days. I wouldn't think it would be cal mag being the quality soil I'm using but I suppose that is possible. I thought water too and I let her dry out really good last water cycle.. I'm newer too and trying to master it so thanks for your input I'll deff look into your thoughts more

How close is the led,and what type of light is it? Happy frog can be a little hot sometimes and can cause problems like this ,I would ph my water to about 6.8 and do a good flush on them as it does appear your getting lockout. then make sure you do a wet/dry cycle when watering (the plants actually get their nutes when the soil is dry not wet.)

Look to me like you are having a pH problem. Have you checked your runoff?

Hey MOJO, LED is @24 inches from canopy. I was thinking HF might a bit hot too, great idea on a good flush. Thanks for your reply and your input!! Looks like a flush is in my near future.

Now I'm thinking my soil might be hot.. im using good rainwater so I think my PH should be good. I'm going to test runoff and/or flush today. Thanks for your thoughts on this they are appreciated!!!

Iv used the happy frog a few times and never had issues with it being too hot. Unless that water you are using has a high PPM and if you dont have it tested there is no way of telling what is in it. But I would start with pH and go from there.

happy frog is known for this as is ocean forest, you can search in the forums about it or google it. Ph in soil usually isn"t a big problem, unless your water is just horrible, but since your using rainwater I'm willing to bet it's the soil is to hot .

That makes perfect sense to me now that I think about it.. I need to invest in a PPM meter.. Got a good one you could recommend? Thanks buddy

I'm with you buddy. Thats pretty much what I'm thinking, I did see a few forums mentioning HF being hot sometimes, so I tried to make sure she was well established before I transferred but it seems it's still too much. Thanks again for your thoughts! I love this site, so much knowledge here!!!

Hey momma my temps are staying between 65-77 F and I'm using rainwater with PH of 6.2. Do either or those figures sound problematic to you?
