My leaves small?

So I saved some plants from death by a friend and was wondering now that they are progressing are these leaves a bit small ?

Why are you lighting the bottom ?

CFL over " tops " / Canopy at a couple inches is better.
Or
Leave CFL and move LED ( over plant ) 15" .

Why was it on brink of death ? Info needed
It was real bad , plant may stunt or go all hermie.

How old is it ?

Ok so I got it from friend it was pH of 8 at times other times he said it went as low as 5 idk wtf he was doing. He also overwatering and idk what else. I got them he said they were 4 weeks old I've had them one week led is 17 inches there is also other pots in the tent. The CFL lamp on the floor was placed there as side lighting to other plants on otherside mainly but in pic I moved it closer to plant in question so I had better pic lol and most CFL are side lighting or over top I have total of 265 watt cfl and most is side lighting about 120 watts is over head near canopy. The main LED light is 300 watt wide spectrum also suspended above canopy is 40 watt LED shop light 5k and 80 watt flouro 6500k I have a 100watt metal halide just gotta get ballast and another 80 watt flouro 6500k
Will adjust spectrum for flower. I use side lighting for two reasons correct me if im wrong one was to get light down further and also because I have limited hanging space lol 4x4x6.5 and half the tent for my small chair for me to sit lol guess I could move it out and try and hang everything but I love sitting with then lol

That looks like a mini Palm tree I would be vegging that out for a month or two to get it nice and big before the flip I think!

Looks fine for a plant thats been over watered and has N toxicity with very low light levels.
Just stop defoliating it.

And would hanging all the light over head be better then using some CFL for Sid lighting?

Ive seen big yields from 200w of cfl, I would put the LED closer as said above and move most of the lights to the top of the plant.. Maybe the CFL's can be around the sides but close to the top too.

nah ..I grew some amazing plants using 3 bulbs as supplemental lighting from sideway bulbs. I shit you not ..it was a beauty .. its crazy is hell because the plant still grows normal nothing bitchy at the top I was nervous what would happen myself .Just is long as you use the bulbs to max efficiency up close is can be without burning .I'm going to do it again . I'm go with 115 watts total .5 CFLs at 23 w each . You got to get as close as possible at all times . an a single bulb vertical show your buddy how to get a plant going healthy again hope it turns out well . The plant looks great nothing it can't come back im going to buy some cfl bulbs haven't gotten them yet though

idk how that cfl will act with all leds around the led will burn them so I got to watch it but when I get all cfl it will be easier
