Satman, thanks for your comments in ma journal. I like your thinking and them girls will feed of your +ve energy. +rep I have never heard of what you are trying to do and like Dixie, share concerns about inducing male characteristics.
This is very interesting and ill be watching developments. Im also waiting to see pics of some grower who re-veg's full budded stems at the same time.
Later :peace:

That is basically what I am doing here, except I really don't want to revert all the way back...and on my fully flowering(above)she continues to flower....no hermies found on any of the six

is it just me or are the MG kids a bit scraggily compared to your other phat nugs?

i like your experiments and your sharing of the info!

personally, i would have agreed with you on your light theories if i had found this thread when it was first started... your logic is sound... i have only had hermies when my light schedule was chaotic... your schedule on those was not conventional but it was far from chaotic so should be fine.

do you think a lot of your height comes from having adequately large pots for a big ass root ball to support a big ass plant? i sure do ;) i also think HIDs help that out a lot too, of course.

props again!

Thanx,Its good to get some feedback on this...was startin to wonder if i was crazy...
The miracle gro babies ARE scrawnier...good eye....they are the youngest,by 2 weeks....I have had to snap the tops...a couple of days ago now...and we should see them really bush out now....tons of branches on them.Since they were preflowering, the cycle induced continued veg,and delayed flowering.

If I have a hermie, this is where it will be,as these girls hadn't made up their mind yet,but so far,all female.

I think the 3 gallon pots have something to do with it...could be strain related too...could be I am just getting a little better at it....Time will tell. When I had to kill off a male...I would check the root ball...I learned a lot about transplants.Good roots....good buds...I know the stalk is thick.

yeah man, when ever you take a plant out always look at the root ball... it will teach you tons and give you lots of data on if you are feeding and watering them correctly.

i mentioned the MG scrawniness because i am sadly using MG soil right now AND CFL's (double death) and i had attributed a lot of my low yield and density to the bulbs... but after seeing this thread i am thinking it is a combination... as i run my experiments we can continue to share notes and see what we see :D

It will be interesting to see if they flower as well as they have grown....currently being fed 100% ionic bloom for hydro..and superthrive.I think I still have another week or so before they begin shaping up flowering wise....the miracle gro has plenty of nitrogen the bloom has phosphates...plenty of macro nutes in the hydro mix....I built dosage quickly,25,50,100,no burn at all.I wanted to load the soil with bloom, cause if they take off like I think, she will make good bud

This is a fast moving thread, but good to hear things are going well on track, and the back up plan is always good- how are you keeping the clones, are they vegging, still rooting? Definitly a unique experiment, i have money on MG not producing nearly as well as any other nute, and even more importantly i believe that as long as the light cycle is constant it will be fine, but mine hermied when there was a one day 5 hour light shortage. So your right, they are more difficult than may seem, especially indoors with those types of unpredictable factors. Very good so far, I will be around more often for sure.

thanx for the support,OB....bear in mind, the name miracle gro babies came from the soil...lol...I wouldn't use miracle gro...even for the experiment sake...lol...no,they get Ionic bloom, and superthrive...no molasses for them yet
