My lowryder2 cross ak47 grow.

My plant seems to have suddenly in the last few days started to go down hill doesn't seem to be growing much, but that's not my real concern. Noticed that there seem to be a few stems turning purple, seems to be getting worse by the day. Had this problem a long time ago and i think purple stems had something to do with the plant getting too cold, am i right there?

Basically could really do with some advice on the issue as i am unsure of what to do at the moment. Cheers everyone.

Oh just loooked and seem all the replies thanks for the kind words everyone, bloody laptop playing up at the moment so couldn't see the posts till now as it wouldn't load all the page lol. Erm to anwser a couple of questions, yer she smells not so much at the moment though. As for age erm if i had to take a guess i'd say she is about 4/5 weeks old now, seems to be on the small side to me though for her age.

All my plants, there stems turn purple then they eventually harden and then are green, I don't think you have to worry about it, they turn that color I am 95% sure.

Don't worry it's an auto it will grow fast don't worry.

purple stems aint a big deal its just from the temp drop at night from what i read. whats the coldest it gets when the lights are off

Yeah i have to agree, sounds like a night temp thing. Perhaps some heating in ur outhouse shed thingy cuz itll only get worse over the next month or two. Diddnt u go through this last year and switch ya lights on times to be on during the coldest part of the 24hrs cycle?

I run lights at night, 7PM to 7AM during flower. Evens the temps out real nice. Weird part is I can't sleep while my girls are cooking. I keep checking on them all the time when the lights are on. Scribed up for this one

Yer your right there mr west! It was a long time ago think it was my first grow i had that issue so forgot all about it! Didn't need to worry about till now again cos i moved my grow inside the house so temps weren't an issue, but had to move it back out a couple of weeks ago due to me having too many clothes and not enough room anymore to fit the cuboard in my wardrobe lol. As for night time temps i dread to think bet it hits close to 10 maybe even 0 at the coldest point in the night. :S

Couple of question then, my lights are on 18/6 at the moment so can't i just have the light on 24 hours a day with it being an autoflowering? Or would that stress her out too much at this stage, and effect the final yeild?

I could switch my light schedule around i guess like you said so the lights where on when it was coldest. Not sure how to go about that though, would i gradually over a few days ajust it like change it by half an hour a day till i got it right? Cos i was thinking if i just switched it stright away all in one go that would really confuse her!

you could extend the l;ights on time to say 20hrs? and have that time off wen the real suns come up lol

It's been a while know forgot about this thread lol. Also my plant wasn't doing so well so didn't bother posting!

Erm well today i chopped her down and got a very pathetic 15grams wet weight. Think that's the worst i have ever done in a grow not sure what went wrong unless it was the cold weather. Erm nothing really to say apart from i stopped the nutes about a 1 and half weeks before i chopped her down and flushed her on the 23rd with about 8 litres of water dunno why i really bothered doing that since everything i used was organic just habit i guess, lol.

looking good i have some lowrider #2 ( easy rider ) growing now and about at 2 week , but having acid peoblem or somthing not sure does anyone know ?

I think u was just unlucky with ya pheno. One of the ryders i grew only yeilded bout 3x8ths. You should try growing a 12/12 strain this coming season.

hmm might try these next just for some quick turnaround (plus I have about 50 seeds!), what groing medium is that? Have you added any nutes already?

grow cubes (rock wool )had nutes and stoped just water next time a diluted fert, but first when my light comes back on ,i just got 4 way tester to test nutes,ph,water and light but light is good just new to growing in the CUBES.lol.so i test and find out

did test even using high amount of nutes (i thought) fertility of cubes was very low and is hard to get to proper level so far.The ph level is almost 7 a bit high , what good dose to bring it down ,i dont want to over due it .!O H and now at 2.5 weeks starting to bud (lol) funnyest looking thing i ever saw check it out !https://www.rollitup.org/images/smilies/weed.gif
