My Moment of Zen for the Week

Sitting here in my big plush leather chair fit for a king with a tall cold glass of long island iced tea, dog at the side. Benny Goodman on the turn table and it's perfect weather. The only thing I hear besides my music is the waves breaking and the backwood burning down. Relaxation.

This won't happen again for a while to come my brotha. Ol' lady's with her gal pal and I have squat worth of work tomorrow. Cocktails and big band while I can? Indeed. I'll pour one for you .

Damn that pizza looks tasty. I dont know what you mean about perfect weather though, it's hot as hell on the coast today! Luckily Im more inland so it's cooler, but 110F!?

Eh, it was in the high 80's low 90's here today. About a mile or two inland it was easily 4-5 degrees warmer. Once the sun started going down it cooled off quickly and the ocean breeze picked up. Happy

Yeah that is nice. My sister has a place on the Oregon coast; I love going up there. They have steps from their back porch that go down 100ft to the ocean beach, so I just bring a chair, a fat blunt, and a book and enjoy. Bliss.

Beaches and blunts always seem to go so well together.
