My new baby/ mother cupboard - was fun to make- take a look

hey man sick set up... im planning a similar thing, whats your ventilation like? i dont see any fans or anything are you just letting it be? how much does it stank?

it dont stank (yet) lol, erm.. there is a 7 inch desk fan in there, on rotate, it works pretty well, i got air in behind the fan ( as to refresh the air) and the top of the cupboard has a few other openings to let air out,

the fans on a timer, on 30 mins off 30 mins ect ect,

the lights on 24/7 but im gna be switching to 18/6 next week.

and the room the cupboard is in has 2 windows, at the top - and back of the house, with 3 doors to the hall, so i open oen shut one if u get my jist, lol

also my main grow room is the next room after this room, that goes to the garden, it has fans n windows also,

plus i sweet talked my parents by bying them 10 auto spraying air freshners for around the house, ( just to make sure)

does the 24 hours light speed the growth? is it at all bad for the plants?

from seedlings, and clones, its the easyest ( fastest way) of encouraging growth. they love it,

however , if you want to work on a root system more then foliage , u can use 16/8. adn the plants will work on roots.

since seed , my babys havnt stopped growing, 18 mm on day 3, 50 mm on day 9,

amazing how fast these pups grow, want to know anything else ?

so you did a 24 hour light cycle from seeds and they were fine? i was planning on starting in a smaller cup then moving to a bigger pot, if i was running a 24 hour light should i try and skip the transplant and start in the big pot?

In my limited experience i have noticed better results using 18/6 lighting and from the info floating around here marijuand can only process 18 hours of light. If u do a good transplant it should be just as good but there is a higher chance of damaging the root sys.

i start with a 1 inch cube of rock wool, give them 7 days, an put the 1 inch cube inside a 3 inch cube,

and yes they have been fine so far

during the flowering stage what do you think the best light combo is to use time wise... like 10 on 14 off? ill be using 4, 2700k cfl's during the flowering instead of the 3, 6400 and 1, 2700 combo im using for veging.

im growing first 14 days on 24/ light)

then 18/6 for veg from then on

and 12/12 flowering

That sounds pretty good. Ive, just been doing it this way and since its workin for me i dont wanna mess with it ya dig

well its day 11 now,

ive litterly just switched the lights over to a timer, 18/6 from here on until march 12th

Sick set up man. I was thinkin about turning my entertainment unit into a grow room. Its deep and tall, would be quite similar.

just make sure that u dont mind cutting a few holes into it, ( for screws or vents ) if u decide u need them
