I agree with this, transplant doesn't always cause shock but when it does it's bad. keep them in big pots!

Go with a big one, wide and deep, don't want to see any roots getting tangled, this can cause strangulation and shriveling of one or several of the plants if they get root-locked or too close and too big. I had 2 plants in a 1/2 gallon pot till after I harvested them. I started re-veg and transplanted to find that the roots were surrounding ALL of the dirt. 4-5 gallon pot is good for 2 plants.

i'll concur with arcturon on deep pots, you don't want wide and shallow, i've had some grief on not so deep pots with my organic grows

What are the penalties there for growing/selling weed????

hey im from blore too. nice to know there is someone like me around here. i was thinking of starting a grow myself with some bag seed(never grown seriously before, learning lot on the net). where your seeds from? Mysore?

Anyways, was thinking of ordering some seeds too but i was thinking about the photo-period being an issue with these hybrid strains. because of it being almost 12/12 throught the year here(which will make the plant auto flower). so im guessing we will need something which is very sativa dominent.
Dont know if what im saying is completely correct. advise will be appreciated.

yeah that would be good you would be able to grow giant sativas. It all depends on personal preference too, maybe you would like a few sativas and a few indicas or maybe a hybrid.

looks good man...gotta be tough growing in india eh? dirty water and extreme heat i imagine.....have you come across any leopards or lions/tigers?

ganesh, i am about to grow indica here as well will see how it comes out, can't imagine it getting too big because it will probably go into flowering sooner than the sativas...like i said i have seeds from different places in ka, mysore included, as well as seeds from annekal, sheelavathi, m m hills, mangalore, ramnagar, and a lot of fucking places.

corso, it's easy growing in india. the sunlight is perfect at 12 latitude for getting so much of powerful light during the light hours, can't compare lightbulbs to sunlight. and while dirty water is prevalent around the country, for a higher but very affordable price, clean water is there as well. extreme heat is over for the most part, the plants survived the april-may heat which is almost over, it's only downhilll in temp from here...again india is not a village or a jungle, it's a country with developed cities, developed towns, and villages and wildlife areas. although not anywhere near as developed as usa, fortunately, very few places in india have real run in's with leaopards and tigers, and i don't remember india having lions. i've seen more mountain lions near my house in california commpared to the number of leopards or tigers i've seen around my house here, which is 0. if you go to kerala, elephants become real common
too many stray dogs and stuff in bangalore but doesnt affect my growing

oh yeah..lions live in india...they were nearly extinct but are slowly making a comeback..lil smaller than african lions and less mane but still a beautiful animal...when is your rainy season?

yeah, how come? i'm gonna buy some more seeds in august cause we can grow year round outdoors here. so why's sour diesel good?

Also, if this plant starts flowering early august, how much do you think it'll yield? it's about 2feet off the ground from the base of the plant, and covers about a square meter of area, the plant alone, i'm sure the roots spread out further but just askin...wanted a rough idea...as well as for one plant of purple widow and one plant of papaya outdoors

Well first of all, SD is one of the hardiest strains out there, it can take drought, mold, pests, stress, and it just keeps growin. Not to mention its one of the best smokes around.

if it can take heat rain mold and pests then i'm going for it. i remember it being a pretty uppy kind of smoke, with a...strong taste. haha
