when growing out doors no need to keep track of days of veg. just when light cycle changes for bloom so you can start the bloom nutes or flower promtor

Im doing the same as you...I started them a month ago and I have them under cfls...when the sun is out(Im in central Cali) I take them out all day for the good stuff...in 2-3 weeks Ill put them out for the year. I will take a few of them and bring them in for 12/12 to get some early smoke but Ill let the sun do its thing again this year. This is my 2nd grow(last year was my first) I went organic in soil I had 6 plants and got 21 oz off them last year. I just let the Cali sun do its thing:)

Roots hate light, your bottom cups should be light proof, for when the roots get to the bottom, they will curl back up and sufficate itself. I would place them in 5 gallon pots now, just they can take off, and you don't have to worry about shocking them. Be sure to moniter the daily weather highs, lows, wind, rain and humidity so that you can ensure the best times to water, fertilize, etc. Good LUCK!

soory your wrong. roots grow just fine in the light its the dryness they don't like. i grow in clear dixie cups roots exposed to the light and they grow at a very good rate of speed with no problems.

yes on some, i can see roots. i'm stuck in the little space they're in now until the weather lets me get em outside, which should be a week or 2. if i had more space they would be in bigger pots...
