Ok so heres the setup. I need improvement so please tell me whats good and bad

"thanks"
well one thing that i noticed is that your going to need to move your lights once the plants grow because they will more than likely grow past that level where the lights are now and you dont want the lights to touch your plants

yeah i figured. what i did was hang the lights with some wire so i can adjust later. right now im using 3 x 26w x 2700k CFL is that good?

looks to me like the 120mm fan will be blowing across your plants, you may want to be careful untill they get a little bit of thickness to the stems, my buddys pc is set up kinda like that and he had to build ducts around the fan so the air current wasnt bending the little sprouts all the way in half. and like he said befor your gunna want a way to move thoes lights up as the plant grows. hope everything goes well for you.

basicly just build sumthing to block the direct air flow twards the plants untill they get stronger. hmm best way to put it. "fan--> []/ <-- angled piece of foam board to stop direct air flow"

that way there still is air circulateing around the case but its not blowing directly on the plants untill they get stronger and the stems can support them selfs under the wind of the fan.

oh ok. thanks man. gotch yea.

ive been trying to read around and find the solution to my answer but it seems that i can not find the answer.

Are 3 x 26w x 2700k CFL good bulbs to use? cause thats what im running.

im not too exp in cfl bulbs, but i know that should be ok for 2 plants to veg in that area, you may want to add another when its time to flower. im not completely sure others can probebly answer this better then myself but this is at least what ive read.

im thinking you should be ok, its just more advised to use the more blue light durring veg. but im thinking all the people who just use a simple hps light all the way thru thats more of the red orange spectrum and they do fine. i have bolth mh and hps. just waiting on these seeds to crack open and then ill start my log. but useing cfls i dont know for sure so id say get the other lights as soon as you can once they break thru the soil.

you need 6500k temp lights... and its a start but its a mad small space.. i gotta see how this goes for you though. creative work.

well most are electrical fires, some ive heard from hid lighting because the people had cardboard in there room and it cought up. just make sure you have proper ventilation to keep everything where temps should be at, and make sure all your connections are solid and taped off from anything else. quickest way to make a spark is put power to a direct ground, or any live wire to grounded metal. just take proper precautions and youll be just fine.

Day 3

Enclosure: HP PC Case
Ventilation: Two 12v HP fans
Medium: Miracle Grow
Strain: UNKNOWN
Growing Pots: Styrofoam cups i stole from work
Lights: 3 x 26w x 2700k CFL

So i decided that i wanted to move the lights up and i was going to wait until the seeds sprouted, then i will move the cups them selves closer to lights, because i couldnt find a way to lower and raise the lights in a easy matter.

so here is what the setup looks like now.

Yeah those 3 lights are good for vegging man. Dont worry. You can also flower with those if you want but if your temps can handle it at the time you will get more bud if you add another light... The thing mentioned above is over exagerated... Weed can crow with any spectrum cfl. Good luck!
