whats up... i don't know if you would instead of the bigger cups, rather 2 liter soda bottles... you can cut them to whatever height you want and its narrow at the top just like the cups... plus its the same width all the way down, unlike the bigger cups... because, you know, they get narrower at the bottom...

i was transplanting from the smaller cups and looking at the same cups you are using... the 2 liter is better to me... plus you like to look at your roots, so thats good for you since the bottles are clear... just don't rip the label off, instead duct tape around the label so the light can't penetrate.. you can do it in a way that you can just peel the label off whenever you want so you can veiw the roots...you can use ginger ale bottles since they are dark green... i use clear and dark green and just wrap the sides.. and can get a clear view from the bottom

Randy,
My next grow will be a stealth Hempy bucket grow. I am thinking of using an auto AK or LR#2 for it. What you think of that in 16 ouncers?

90% is when it's move out for water. You grab the first and you find out the second is laying on the one you moved. If you don't have a free hand to catch it with then "plop goes the marry jane plant".

So safety tip:

move only one plant at a time and be ready to catch them.

can electrical tape be used to seal out the light on the cup? then that way you can carefully unwrap it to check the roots an moisture in the cup.

I grow in clear cups w/holes in bottom for water drains. I cut the bottom out of the color cup and use as a sleeve.

You can watch roots without light harming them.

You can use diff colors (I use red and blue) to help keep track of the plants.
yep just do this

Isn't that what this thead is all about.

Tape will work just not as easy to put on over and over.

Oh and MrsRocket made up this Idea. I just posted about it.

hey randy... i slowed my roots from growing to fast... but i want to grow it even slower... do you have any ideas...

this one guy on here said that he sprouts his seeds in film canisters, so the roots get a little root bound before transplanting since he grows in a pc...and his plants look freaking great, can't lie.... and i was thinking if that would be a good addition to the process.... what you think...
