My plants are Burning Help!

My plants are burning because my grow room is way to hot. Unfortunatly I dont know how to cool my closet down because i do not have an exaust system. So if anyone has clues it would be greatly appreciated. I had good starts with seedlings and just got my 400 watt with an mh bulb!
I dont have a camera but as soon as i can post some pics up i will show you the groow room and maybe my plants if there still alive!
Also any ideas to bring them back to life as quick as possible!

how much will that cool down the room and also how far away should i have the plants?

What's the size of the room? What light are you using now? As close as you can get your hand to the light and hold it for 20 seconds without burning is how close your plants can be to the light. An oscillating fan will also help cool it down. Ice will work, but it's a temporary solution to a permanent problem.

i moved them far enough away now but the closet is about 2ftX4ft maybe a little bigger. the whole room is stays around 80+ degrees so snow will help and a fan maybe but it still seems like it may be a little to warm any other ideas or should i try that?

Definitely get a fan. Having a fan in there will create stronger stems and overall stronger plants. you should always try to exhaust your grow room's air into a different room or area so that fresh air is always flowing into the room. If the air coming in is at 80+ degrees...well...might need to see some pics to help out there.

get a big oscilating fan from walmart like 8 dollars but do not blow straight on plants should help. good luck with the grow bro.

Are you in a room where there is an attic above you? You can remove the standard closet ceiling light and the box behind it, make the hole a little bigger, and stick one of these in it for exhaust and it will EASILY keep it perfectly cool.

Don't use ice or water in front of a fan. Super high humidity is very bad for the plants in every way and leads to mold and fungus and all kinds of problems.

The fan should eventually be replaced with one that ducts all the way out the roof too, this would just be temporary.

When it's time to move, you just hang a larger light up there and it will cover the hole perfectly.

Unfortunately i do not have that ability because its apt building and people live above me. Yeah thanks i will go get one of those fans today because 2 plants for surely have died and 2 are ok so we shall see how they do!

Thx everyone

get plastic plates or shallow bowl(i use the plastic thing that catches my drip water) put water, freeze it , put it around the fans or just anywhere n re-freeze it anytime it needs to.even put one above near the thermometer. if u dont have space in ur fridge then. leave the door open more or make a hole somewhere put in exhaust fans, filters ,the whole shibang....i suggest the ice thing ...or even frozen party cups put those around
