My Plants are dying please help I don't know what's wrong!

photo (5).jpgphoto (6).jpg I have my plants in jiffy mix soil starter in there little starter squares and I have lost a few to reasons unknown to me I give them micro grow bloom vodoo juice and b51 4 ml of m/g/b and 2 ml of the v juice and b51 mixed with 1 liter of water and have been giving them that on and off with the off being just giving them regular water. please let me know what you think thanks! there outside all day and get good sunlight it's a little cold out but nothing bad

Way too much nutes, plants dont need anything but water and light for the first 10-14 days and even then you only need very little. You may have already fried their tiny little roots to the point of no return

just get sum more fresh cuts and keep ppms down to 300ppm when you start feeding, they dont need to be fed til the 3rd set of leaves start coming in. GL bro

Search the effected plants for very small worms. They will often leave behind a web. They will devour your plants one small patch at a time. Are the brown patches on the leaves transparent? Can you take a close up pic of an effected area?

lol worms.. do you mean caterpillers, the only thing i know that webs anything are spiders, spidermites would've left small dots over the leaves and a web. its a nute burn he def said it clearly with the feed chart he gave with his symptoms

Hey guys thanks I really appreciate the advice! I figured it was the nutes a number of days ago and have been giving them water hopefully most of these girls will pull through I will be posting future posts of these girls to show how they do over the next few months Hopefully I can just clone some of the plants that have some nice green leaves. Thanks again and I will try to flush them with ph'd water

Be careful not to overwater. At this point it may be easier for you to transplant my friend

I do mean caterpillars big guy. Silkworms are a type of caterpillar and they certainly leave a web. I agree that he shouldn't be feeding at this stage but the fact that he is doing so does not restrict this to nute burn as the only suspect causing the discoloration. Plus if it is nute burn wouldn't it show consistantly throughout his plants? I just had a problem with these small, web leaving CATERPILLARS a couple of weeks ago and what they do to a plant looks much like what we are seeing here. I will search for the proper name of these larva and get back to you. Happy growing

"Rose slugs" are the small green larvae of the Sawfly. They will "skeletonize" a leaf leaving small brown patches. Whether or not this is the problem I have learned something new!

Thanks I appreciate it I think I will look through it all and see if I can find any larvae or anything like that. I don't doubt that could be a possibility I agree with you and was suspicious that it might not have been nute burn because it was not consistent throughout the plants and the tips of the plants are typically what goes on in nute burn and I was having burn all over with some of the specs as well. I live in washington on the Olympic Pen if that helps.

  • I put some of the better girls into new 1 gallon bucket with black gold organics and perlite close to 1:2 and 1:3 they are a like 2 weeks old should I continue with some nutes to see if they do better? also should I use the same nute ratio as I was earlier? thanks​

Yup, nute burn. way to much for those girls being so small. transplant and just feed water fer abit. Your organic soil is good for them for now.
