ok so i have about 10 plants that are currently about 4 1/2 weeks old.... they are about 5-6 inches tall, have about 6 nodes already and are developing the side branches..... i have a 600w mh and two 23w cfl....... have home made exhaust going and have home made cold air being forced into my room which is about 5x5x10.....they started out as seedlings and have been growin strong ever since..... except for the shortness they have been in 12/12 for the past 1 1/2 and i am stumped for the next step???? any advice?? also its random bagseed but from some very very potent hyudroponics.... also i know imma get beat on this but they are all in a two liter bottle that i cut the top off of and i covered up the bottles with black tape so the light stayed out......?

without pics it's impossible to say for sure, but i bet it has something to do with the 2 liter bottle. and please do not tell me that all 10 plants are in the same 2 liter bottle...this is not to sound douchey in any way, but may i ask why you invested in such a nice light just to grow in soda bottles?

first of all mh lights doesnt make ur plant grow tall with big spaces between nodes, the HPS lights do that, and growing plants in 2L pop bottles isnt wise, unless u plan to clone and have restrictions on dirt space and pots, like i have atm. ur shortness is due to not enough space for the roots. if u want to grow nice big tall plants use 5 gallon buckets, if u want to grow something 2 feet tall or less use milk cartons or pop bottles.

the bigger the pot the more room for roots which is the most important thing look u only need 2 - 3 gallon pots if u wanna do small to medium plants go to my pro i am using 2 gallon pots and 3 gallon grow bags, the bigger the plant doesnt mean more buds always and i found that when i put my clones into flowering at around 8 inches they grow to almost 2 1/2 3 feet, with huge colas, bigger plants take more water and more nutes to grow same size buds id rather not have big bulky plants waist of time and room

the plants are on 12/12 bc idk what are males and what are females..... once they start to show ill pull the males and continue to flower about how long would it take before its time to cut down? also once im done with that im planning on getting 5 gal buckets air stones water pumps and doin dwc.

well how big r they now, if they are a foot that liter bottle wont b enough room for the roots but its possible, anythings possible and im sure someone has already done it but its not cool to put ur plants through any stress if u can help it and the more of a root system the better the nugs and bigger, u dont want a plant that u think is sum bomb ass weed growing u sum shwaggy shit do u, thats always a bummer ust get sum 2 gallon or 3 gallon pots if u can id use grow bags but to each his own.
