My plants got to big? What should I do?

I had great success w co2 but the got a little crazy. I've been cleaning them up, but should I lollipop then even more? I have 3 different rooms all w problem. Headband and darkstar/chemdog are here in the pics.

Each room has 4 hps 1000, and 2 4x8's. I just threw a 5th light in there to help the flower production.

From the pic's should I clean them up even more or any pointers. Thx

Theres not a whole lot you can do. You can try thinning them out some more, but it looks like theyre locked into place with a trellis or screen so you cant really reach very far in. Just try and ride it out and learn from it. Thats gonna be brutal to trim.

Yeah thx been here before. But got new bulbs and co2 was pumping. I can get in there where I need too. I've been cleaning them up in sessions to not stress them. I'll go threw n thin them out. What is the negative, smaller nugs? my extra 1000 should help right. Yields should be good still? Just a pain to trim. Lol (Got people for that). But is there anything that I should do to my feeding. Like top off w that week food. I got 70 gal resivors and they flood 4x in the 12hr light period. You think gradually moving to 5-6 feedings cuz of all the plant matter n roots?? Any tips to get the nugs bigger?? Thx bro

I don't have to many plants in each 4x8. But I super cropped the the headband by weaving threw the net as it grew provoking side n bottom growth. But def a ton of cola tips.

I would leave the outside perimeter of your screen the way it is, id focus on trimming out the middle, i know its going to be hard. When the nugs dont get enough light they are not dense and light. They will stay light green and look like they are fox tailing rather than forming properly. :):):)

Ya I know what you mean. It's hard to do the right thing sometimes when it means cutting healthy plants down. But I'll show you some new pics of 1000w MH light right in center of the trays. But still gotta thin out. Thx a lot man. Happy growing. :-)

big is good! the better the yield
that room looks kinda small, how is the heat with the 1000w+ running?
so many little flowers and bud sites!

holy moleys, is that a ebb and flow hydroponics?

if you want to stunt height, what you can do is CUT THE ROOTS. just like the pruning a bonzai tree. a plant will try to stay the same size top and below, if you nip a few strands that are the long and unruly, it will help prevent further stretching. in veg, roots and grow nonstop, in flowering you have to be very careful about how much you cut because roots grow back alot more slowly

I would put a hedge-trimmer straight across the top, about 3" above the screen, wait 7 days then go 12/12.

It looks like you were trying to SCROG. The only thing is you let them outgrow the screen way too much which basically negates the whole reason for scrogging. They should only be 6-12" inches above the screen. You're going to end up with a ton of popcorn at the bottoms.

I see a bunch of calyx's already forming so I am guessing your at least two weeks into flower. There isnt much you can do at this point. I would just try to supercrop everything to get an even canopy going and bring your lights down.

The heat is fine, got cool tubes in one of the rooms. But I would never veg to that size! Especially w my ceiling space. Lol but I'm on week 5 today. So I won't have too much vertical growth left. But this is where my bud production is going the next 3-4 weeks n want to make sure they nug up right. I'll post some more pics later today.

I can walk all the way around the trays. And haven't had heat problems. I have a extra window a/c for the summer as well for an extra boost. Thx

Yeah first time w those dark star chemdog's. they blue up. I think I can handle the head bands. But there is not much to do bout the dscd. Got popcorn coming. Lol but probably yield ok still. Thx man. I'll post some current pic's w more light n let me know what you think. :-)

The way I like to think of scrog is that it's like a 'carpet' of bud. Personally I aim for a 3-4" carpet under a 250w, 4-5" under a 600. I would guess at 5-6 under a 1k. That's from experience (when the under canopy gets dark) and varies between strains and growing methods (never topping and fimming an indica again, I ended up pulling buds to give others room).
The whole point of a scrog is to keep all the plant in the 'sweet-spot' of light and that isn't going to happen if some of it is 8" further away than others.
