So this is my little side cabinet - I've been using it off and on for running small grows, vegging - or really any sort of experiement I want. It has a 70W HPS and 2 CFL bulbs. Fresh air enters the bottom section through low profile lightproof vents. In the upper portion, I have a PC fan that pulls air from above the bulbs and into a chamber filled with carbon. Smell hasn't been a problem.
I call it the annex and right now I've got a SCROG in it.
The containers are rubbermaid type containers. I cut the bottom out of one and stacked it inside another to give a bit more soil volume. I've got 4 plants in it at the moment - 3 of my usual clones. I also put in one plant from seed - a seed from a plant I grew several years ago that was pretty potent. We'll see if it holds up...
The screens are PVC with chicken wire hexagonal screen. They are height adjustable. I try to inspect the branches every few days and give a nice, even canopy.
