incredible! PC growing...I am new into growing plants indoors, but PC growing, very nice. I understand the principle of bending and LST, but the plant still wants to grow like crazy, especially when she'll be into vegetative stage. What will you do for space then? And I presume in this type of grow you are switching for 12/12 very quick ? And what about the bud production? I would guess it's limited? small amount? In any case, very nice idea! + rep mate
Actually this small plant was grown using 12/12 from seed it basically popped out of the ground then started budding right away , its a Good way of growing if your worried about space. bud production will be greatly smaller but thats ok I just do this for fun and for free smoke lol

Do you still add N to your nutes? Looks like lack of Nitrogen. You have to keep those fan leaves green if you want nice buds.

Yeah I figured it was some kind of nute deficiency, as of now I am only using 2-7-7 cactus food with filtered tap water. I have to get to the hydro store and pick up something better for the next grow. It's getting me by but it could be much better with good nutes.

im surprised you didnt get in on the party cup comp. i would of never believed a plant could go full term in a party cup.

haha yeah I originally was going to use the solo cup for a short time then transplant, but It was doing so good that I just decided to let it go all the way through in it. It has great drainage and seems to be pretty healthy. Can't wait to harvest this little baby, keep watching because I will always be posting updates and lots of pics!!

Looking nice. That cup must be full of roots. Anyway keep it up man!
Yeah actually just today while watering I noticed a few roots sticking out of the drainage holes in the bottom, I'm not too worried because harvest time is right around the corner and its still getting bigger. A few people have warned me about the plant getting root bound in the cup but I think its doing fine.

Whats up everyone, Just got a quick question...:?: I'm going to harvest in a few weeks and my leaves are dying off. Should I just cut the yellowed/dying leaves since I'm close to chop time or will this do more harm than good to my micro?? any comments welcome thanks :blsmoke:

I say let them be.. the plant is sucking out the stuff he needs from the leaves so i let them dry completely before i pluck them off.

you should be able to tell, if a leaf looks like its all yellow and dead, sometimes all u gotta do is touch it and it falls off, thats actually a healthy sign. its normal for some leaves to die off over the life of the plant. if a VERY gentle tug on suspect leaves doesnt pop em off, they should stay. obviously completely dry should be removed, it just promotes better airflow.

I just noticed something with my clones that have been transplanted. if they are kept within 4 inches of the cfl's they are bushy, any further away than that, and they start looking a little stretchy. The 26w cfls get to hot to touch the plant, but T8's can rest right on them.

Yeah now that you say that I actually have been touching a dead leaf and it fell right off. So ill take the advise thank you, cant wait until harvest time!!! Im getting excited now and the smell in there is great!!

mmm can you smell that smell, oo oo ooo

I dont have a filter yet so the smell is everywhere, soon as i open my door. luckily i dont get any traffic lol. I need to get at least one of those 4" fan filter combo units.

And yeah, a healthy plant should drop dead leaves off, its just part of its natural biology, sometimes they can stick there if theres not enough wind to blow them off. outdoors if they dont drop they WILL lead to mold issues.

Ha yeah I don't have to worry about smell either, I smoke regularly in my room so it usually smells like good bud anyway haha. Im going to take some new pics tomorrow, thanks again for the usefull information. Im still a beginner and love learning new things about growing

**Little Update guys**

Got home today and when I went to flip my lights off I noticed that the drying up a dying of the leaves is starting to stop, but they are slowly turning a yellowish color? I want to have nice green fans leaves. I'm feeding with 2-7-7 cactus food at the full strength which is about 20 drops mixed with 1 quart water. The cola is still getting bigger and finally getting some nice red hairs on it. Is it these cheap nutes that could be causing the yellowing on my leaves?

here's a quick pic as of a few hours ago..
