Hi all well i put my babies to crack 8 days ago ans still no signs of cracking.

I am a little conserned about them ,,at 1st i had them somewhere not warm enough so them i moved them to the top of my boiler and when i checked the temp it shot of the themometor(it seemed alittle to warm to say the least).

I have managed to put them somewhere now where the temp is lovely 26 c all the time ,,i wish i had done this at 1st.

Will they still be ok or should i start to crack a couple more ?

And also can i use tap water to crack my babies and do i need to ph the water iam using to crack them?

many thanks .

Sounds like you may have cooked them on top of that broiler. If your using tap water you need to let it sit in an open container for 24hrs to let the chlorine evaporate. I would ph the water first too if i were you. good luck.
