My setup.

so i made a grow cabinet.
What i done:
I took a warbroad that we didnt use, and i converted it into a grow area.
I cut 3 holes, and attached 3 12volt fans (that came from my old webserver), 2 are at either side of the HPS light, and one is lower down.
The one on the left of the light is pulling the air "in", the one the right is blowing air "out", and the lower fan is also taking air "in"
My light is a 600watt HPS its about 1 ft away from the plant. Now a Question, how far should it be?? my plant had slightly dry leave on it, only 2 leaves were like this. I thought it should be allright with the air intake i have eh?
oh, the wardrob is lined with silver foil if that helps.

way more than a foot, try 18 inches or 22 inches foot maybe too close

hold your hand right above the top of the plant and if the light is hot on your hand its to close to the plant. keep moving the light up till you can hold your hand above the plant without getting hot. your height above the plant all depends on the air flow.

Ok i raised the light a bit, and it seems to be better, i can take any picture if the damn thing, wen the lights on, it flickers, and wen its off, well, i cant see anything.
My new seeds have sprouted, only just.
How soon should i put them into soil?
