Hey everyone.
I've been using rapid rooter plugs for a while now, but the tray and dome I have take up so much space, I wanted something I could root cuttings in without having to dome them.
I have been looking at the clone machines and decided to build one.
I was going to buy one but the cheapest eight site unit was around $75.00.
I built this one for around $25.00.
I had the bucket.
Submersible pump $10
three feet of 1/2" tubing $6
six 360 degree spray heads $6
six neoprene 2" collars $3
Total $25.00
Here is some pics,
I used zip-ties to attach the tubing to a net pot that I turned upside down inside the bucket.
You could use a basket or anything.
I cut holes in the lid, added water and rooting supplement and the four cuttings in there now are thrilled.
There was no initial droop or anything. The sprayers are working great. When I lift a vacant collar and look in the thing is misting and spraying all over the place!
