my soil mix, thoughts?

I just mixed this up:
5 gallon bucket
½ full of organic top soil
6 cups perlite
6 cups vermiculite
3 cups plant tone organic fertilizer 5-3-3
½ cup 10-10-10 fertilizer
I was thinking of adding maybe 3 cups of Sphagnum moss
Currently I have this mixed up and sealed in a 5 gal bucket. I plan on opening it up every 2 days to for a week or two to let it "activate".
Any thoughts on it before I use it for NL?
Thanks

Vermiculite is great for seedlings and shrooms but there are better soil components for mature plants.

Check the soil pH and see how your mix turned out. You want about 6.5. Keep an eye on your soil pH readings until you know how they change over time.

At 7.5-6.5-6.5, your nutrient mix should work alright for vegging but will need a higher ratio of Potassium to the other two macronutrients for flowering. A ratio close to 4-5-7 might be a good one to aim for while you get an idea what your strain likes.

Thanks for the reply. I added a few things and figured out the percentages. Well, its based on onces but hopefully close enough. 640 oz in 5 gallons.

67.75% soil
11% perlite
7.5% Vermiculite
3.75% sand
3.75% peat moss
3.75% plant tone 5-3-3 fertilizer with microbes
1.25% 10-10-10 general fertilizer
1.25% dolimite lime

Now to let it sit a few days and then try and check the PH level.
