My Stance on fem seeds in a brief statement

Remember this,
Nature is efficient and 1 male can pollinate hundreds of females a good grower will generally get 70% females anyway.
The whole Fem seed thing is a rush to cash made of lazy people looking to skip the time honored tradition of selecting the best female and keeping her around through cloning. This type of Hurry up at all cost science is costing us artisian craftmenship.
I stand by this at great cost to total profits, right is right and wrong is wrong.
Love me hate me call me stupid this is my story and I'm sticking with it.

both regs and fems have a place,both are equally the same to grow in terms of difficulty.i like and grow both.

I think it is great for the industry, the more growers the more we move to legalization. Fem seeds are great for beginners, closet grows, small space etc. I have been working on a 3 gallon hydro kit that will contain nute tablets for an entire grow. You buy the unit add water plug in light and grow. Fem seeds will be perfect for this.

I see your side for sure, I get what you are saying but no dif than our parents laughing at computers, use your brains they said. Now they are gradfaters and grandmothers stuck to facebook all day.

Amen... It ain't that difficult to sex plants and cull males, even if your experience is limited (like mine).

I enjoy the process of growing out my seeds, isolating females and selecting males and females for breeding. Making my own genetic crosses is a big part of hobby for me.

Everyone has there own opinion I was just trying to clarify mine some as lots of pressure has been applied to us to produce fem lines.
Lots of breeders produce fem seeds with great results and lots of growers love to grow them with equally good results.
I am not even saying that reg seeds are better just explaining why in 12 years of breeding I have never jumped on the bandwagon
Many of my good friends in the industry produce them so there seems to be enough for everyone

Not Judging any longer just making my position clear
I don't feel I am better than others its not me versus them its just how I feel.

I had my dance with fem seeds. Life is too short to dance with fem seeds.

I was just given some B-52's that are fem, it's my first experience with them.

So far i'm seeing normal growth rate in veg state compared to my regular seeds.

The genetics are superior to my Lemon Skunks and equal to my regular Kaya (although their not as old so a direct comparison is impossible)

My only experience to this point was with regulars and i'm looking forward to see what mutations occur.

If its worth doing, It's worth doing right. Way to go Sub!

I do a small self serving hidden grow . Its my meds .So i have to count on fems to save time and space (wasnt that a startreck logo..)Anyway,i do make exeptions for great verieties,like the one i have going now "cheese quake".If i dont do it myself ill never get to tast it,or other tast like "purple erqel".So i guess iam trying to say ive never had a problem with fems,and need them for time and space but sometimes its worth the extra love for good verieties

Given the choice, I will always choose "regular" rather than "femmed" seeds. I have had good success growing and cloning femmed varieties, and maintain a couple in my quiver, but I decline to breed them. If I find an exceptional male, I feel equally as blessed as finding a female with similar qualities. A little bit of great pollen goes a long way. I only wish there was the same interest in swapping/selling pollen as there is in seeds. What I wouldn't do to get some pollen from several elite strains to work from. Feel free to message me with any ideas.

fems are like a low level of breeding if you want all traits and the highest standards, it will take much longer. femming is a short cut and like subcool said mostly for the $. but they do have thier place but it is some bullshit they are trying to "push" fems and autos on us, this lowers the quality of growers by not making it more difficult or more in depth for them. often this is why i think a lot of people dont breed thier own seed cuz they are just thinking bud bud bud, but really its not all about the bud ask any real grower, youll find them talking more often about equipment, light spectrum and breeding more than anything else, we have all seen some epic buds bud whose bud is the next epic story?

I always prefer a nice home cooked meal, over a Hot Pocket, stoned, at 2AM.

Lately ive been having the problem of too many females from subs seeds...when I pop a 5 pack I don't expect 4/5 to be ladies. So the room is filling up quick...Theyre all kind of special, breaks my heart to cull anything lol

i tried a girls "hotpocket" once with my mouth, lets say i didnt like it, i said lets do it the regular way.
