My variation of a Febreze Bucket

let me say, so everyone gets an idea of what my room is like. My grow rooms are a converted bedroom in a house. Air intake is through central A/C. I have a 6" & 4" high velocity can fans with carbon filter in a window box for exhaust.
My whole house reeks like WEED.
I recently removed carbon filters on exhaust to increase the air velocity though my hoods And ADDED a febreze bucket to my room. Works great and alot cheaper than air purifiers or more carbon filters. Now , the whole house smells spring fresh. MY worry is the plants absorbing the febreze taste.

So, my solution is, instead of having a bucket with a fan on it blowing febreze around my flower room. I will add some short length of 4" ducting from each hood to a "T" attached to the hole in the lid of my febreze bucket minus fan. With holes around the rim of the bucket, I simply fill bucket with febreze and let the air be pulled through the bucket. Now , no need for carbon filters on exhaust, air velocity has doubled without restrictions, and the bucket with fan has been moved to veg room which is between flower room and rest of house. Whole house still smells fresh and i dont have to worry about my flowering plants absorbing febreze taste.
Now , I have paid the $$$ for carbon filters and this is definately cheaper and better for MY STYLE OF ROOM. Hope this helps some.

After posting this morning, I hot footed it to HomeDepot to get my 4" "T" and a couple clamps. Built My new bucket, installed it, and moved other bucket with fan to veg room. Now my flower room is back to that sweet skunky smell we all love, BUT the exhaust on the Outside of the house is ODOR FREE, just a hint of spring fresh febreze. Just thought you all would like to know.
Now , i have NO WORRY's about plants ABSORBING febreze taste or smell. Took pics, Ill post as soon as i get them back.
