now...read this....Deep Water Culture....
Traditional methods favor the use of plastic buckets with the plant contained in a net pot suspended from the center of the lid and the roots suspended in the nutrient solution. An air pump powered aquarium airstone oxygenates the nutrient solution; if sufficiently oxygenated, the plant roots can remain submerged indefinitely. Once the plants are ready to flower, the level of the nutrient solution is gradually reduced to expose the roots to the air.
Plants absorb vastly more oxygen directly from the air than from the oxygen dissolved in water. Deep water culture allows plant roots to absorb large quantities of oxygen while also allowing the uptake of nutrients. This leads to rapid growth throughout the life of the plant.

IF there's adequate Oxygen being added to the rez, roots can be AND stay totally submerged in DWC.
An "air gap" is okay too.
Some give alot of gap, some none at all.
Both are correct and okay WITH ample Oxygen being pumped into the rez.
I've noticed that with the bottom of my net pots submerged at least in 1/8th - 1/2 inch deep, I get more "feeder" root hairs and less of the fibrous root material that is basically the "searchers".

you cant handle being proved wrong can you?...you dont even know what system is what.other then the droop from it growing into the lights overnight...there was no issues

i've grown DWC i know whats up..i was just trying to help him out..im telling u i know this guy had to much water in there to often or something that was causing root rot to start taking hold..i would ask him a question but i dont think he would be honest

there it is a few days before chop...after moving the lights up...tell me whats wrong with it there..it just looks so unhealthy dont it...keep in mind that thing wasnt even 3 weeks old yet

And here are the roots..as you can see, they have no root rot or root ball at all..

post some pics of the crusted brown leafs and the leafs that had brown edges...plus the pic where the roots are all slimmy and a tad discolored????? or i can do it for u..then go look up Root Rot pictures on cannabis leaves and see for yourselves plus i noticed ur roots looked slimmy and i saw it looked like they were clumping together and not growing out of all ends of the grow pot THATS NO BUENO

u and DJ made it a big deal not me..who got personal 1st?? not me, shit im to grown for all that shit..then i went into defense mode like U THINK U HAVE TO but its all good..im coo with noob growers just dont get on my bad side..and its not all ur fault we all make mistakes..that gdp pic i posted earlier in my dwc, well i had a plant die in their before that one..it happens..i was honestly trying to help or give advice and sorry but i stand by that advice still even if u dont agree but i think its just cuz u dont like me
