I use regular Extreme Gardening Mykos at every transplant. I also add a little Mykos WP into my top dressing mixes sometimes. It only has 1 strain of mycos in it. I've heard the different strains can work against each other so I don't add anything else extra or trichoderma.

I probably don't really even need to use it anymore though since I'm doing no-till. Since I don't disturb the hyphae network much at transplants.

As far as keeping “ myco “ happy , I use this MYCO CHUM... I really like this product. I alternate this with kelp in my watering.
This has the “ sweeteners “ ( molasses ) and humic acid . I use this with soil grows but not sure if useable in hydro due to the molasses component ( gum up or what not ) .

Yes. I have that too. I haven't used it in awhile though. I use to lightly dust the roots and new hole with Azos and then coat the shit out of them with the Mykos. I've gotten lazy though, and haven't used it in awhile. I'd also mist the roots with water first so everything sticks better.

I think you need to be more careful with the Azos. But you can't really overdo the Mykos.

I thought it might have burned them a bit the first time I used it, but I could be remembering things wrong. It was a couple years ago.

I should start using it again.

SO I looked up the mykos. So there’s the extreme and the wp (wetting powder). So why do I choose the wp? Seems that’s what mentioned here ?

Actually I said it in post 21, but I use both. The regular I put directly on the roots and in the newly formed hole. I have the WP too though that I add in top dressing mixes. But the WP is water soluble so you can just water it in.

I think it was @Budzbuddha that uses the WP on the roots too. I don't see why that wouldn't work just fine too but since I have both I use both.

This is what sold me.

MYKOS works fast and creates strong roots in 95% of common plants. MYKOS is a single species of Endo-mycorrhizal fungi, Rhizophagus intraradices, eliminating any type of root competition. Why only Endo-mycorrhizae?
Ecto-mycorrhizae has no beneficial effect on vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs.

Thats why i mentioned using your own roots to create the new innoculant. Those strains still alive on your root system and soil are what works the best. Out of all those fancy names listed on your $20 bag o' myco only a certain amount took and flourished. You could be buying all 18 but only 3 work in your application. It's like cloning but for the soil microbiome...you like cloning plants? think it's cool? Well hotrodharley and i just showed you how to clone your microbiome...and we're ignored? K, enjoy guys

Azos for cloning. Mycos for transplant

I just did a 40 clones batch. 32 had roots rooted into promix in 14 days. Last few taking their time, roots should be ready to go @ 3 weeks from snip.

azos for cloning win all day. Cut out hormones completely.

Sorry no disrespect I am just very new n that all sounds very advance I want to get to on to KNF growing in a few grows But for now I just want to buy some powders or easy organic solutions to go with a bag soil like ffof. But I will be experimenting with some KNF style self made ferts Banana peel teas and LAB with fermitted fruits. Iam working with another grower on here now to get to that type of level. So my bad

Kelp4less on eBay has great prices. I know nothing beyond that about it other that my plants don’t really miss a beat from transplant now.

not very impressive... i use rapid rooter and clone gel nothing else ph ro water to 6.5 and i get roots in 5-10 days depend on strain.

Notice I didn’t say have roots. I said cloned into cups. Ready for transplant at 14 days.
That’s impressive for me.

also what’s more imoressive to me is that that’s hormone free. So I can 100% say organic clone to harvest
