Mylar alternatives?

To build a veg box , would car sun shield reflectors be a good alternative to using mylar from a grow tent or is it the same material anyway? I just figure it'll be easier to cut square and neat over cutting apart a grow tent.

yep as Stew said, a emergency blanket works well, but if you already have the care cover (silver once) thats fine, everything is better then flat white



I use both maylor and a emergency blanket in my grow room

I say black and white poly... Thicker doesn't rip as easy and is easier to hang. IMO

The inside of a potato chip bag! It's kinda ghetto but if you are short on cash it's a good alternative.

Orca paper or film.It is the best.It is however expensive will cut into place cleans up with soap and water and can use construction glue to install it in place.Whoever invented it should win a prize for best new product on the market in the last few years.You can see it on youtube.
