You don't have to germinate seeds before placing them in rockwool. In fact, some growers don't like to germinate seeds because the risk of shock it too great.

whats the proper way to use rockwool? i dont ahve a ph tester yet. im gonna have a million questions. this is my first time doing this so..... lol but any help is welcomed.

well ive been reading about rock wool. it says to soak them over night... i kinda read this to late before i started to soak them for 5-10mins. stupid me. but is there anything bad that can happen because i didnt soak them overnight? and i desided to germ in the rock wool. and lastly for now, normaly how long should it take for them to start popping out of the rock wool?

I only soaked mine in pHed water for like 30 seconds. There's no need to soak them overnight. Your seedlings should pop up anywhere between 3 and 10 days.

Yeah just use pHed water until they all have the first set of "true" leaves (not the cotyledons, i.e. little round ones). Check out this post, Roseman has already answered all your nute questions here: Starting Nutes

well my first attempt failed. neither of the bag seed. worked. good thing i stared the NL and fruity :) hoping they will start sprouting soon. then i have to figure out how this is all gonna pan out.

You can use lemon juice to lower pH or baking soda to raise it. You should still get pH strips at least or there will be no way to accurately predict the pH.

Yeah man tell me about it. Bills suck. I would say it's safe to estimate your water's pH is between 7.3 and 7.6 so add a little bit of lemon juice (I have no experience so I won't even make an estimate) to bring it to about 5.5-6.5. Maybe someone has experience with this and can give you more details.

Ok well i dark blued the outside of the bucket and lid. so to help the light not get through. im soaking the stones in the sink right now. the fruit started upside down since i just threw the seeds in there i helped it out and put it right side up. the nl havnt even cracked yet. im gonna let the fruity grow a little more before i put it in the bucket. how big should i let it get it before putting it in the stones?

Well found out my g/f lied to me. we didnt have any lemon juice. :(. so i just put the water lvl to the bottom of the basket and put the baby in there. :) hopfully she grows. right now i have bc grow. when should i use that?

well put it in last night. it stood up and looking pretty good. waiting for it to open to get the shell off the round leaves. but she grew a little and stood right up hopefully she grows big and strong.
