This is a study that deals with "fertigation" - fertilizing with water-soluble synthetic fertilizers and it goes heavily into statistics which makes reading it in spots a real drag. But it has a great set of photos that sum up the effects of over-fertilizing your cannabis with nitrogen, which can be almost as bad as growing with deficiencies.
These are all high CBD hemp strains, but it should hold true for our Cannabis
depending on the variety, the "nitrogen sweet spot" is somewhere around 50 ppm to 150 ppm of nitrogen. This study also shows that cannabis is not a "one size fits all" plant. The strains nutritional needs (and limits) can vary quite a bit
