Nanners happen...

Bummer... Just found a seed and then a friggin' nanner on one of my girls... :-/ It is smaller than a grain of rice. I haven't found anymore but I'll keep a lookout in the next couple days. I'm just gonna keep on as normal, there's nothing I can do at this point. I had an issue with my timer just a few days ago. I came back to my girls a few hours after the light had shut off and noticed it was on. They must have gotten 2-3 extra hours of light, I was livid, I knew this was gonna cause a herm. Only thing is I thought it would be my platinum skunk that would herm, and not this mystery indica strain I have.

So here's to a seedy havest. :-/ I guess I can at least say this is my first cross breed if I find any seeds in my platinum skunk...? lol

I grew an overlapping harvest this year growing White shark, WW, Black Sugar & WW x Amnesia. I have found 15 seeds in my bud so far [I'm smoking all the little popcorn buds that were mixed while my big buds cure, so I don't know which girl got pollen or if all of them have.] & I have not found a single nanna. The White Shark that I grew first has no seeds. I've manicured every plant, every bud. I've even found tiny shell husk. No nanna? There's no sign of pollen spill, nothing.

I am looking forward to growing a seed or two though, very similar strains except maybe the Black Sugar. Mmm that would be nice - Black Sugar crossed with any of the WWs especially WW x A, exceptional smoke.

Ya I was amazed at how small it was, I think I have spotted a few more developing but they haven't pushed out yet. I also see bunch of the places on some of my plants that the calyxes have started turning in to small balls, I am assuming this is where the seeds are developing. I am at day 53, I'm wondering how long the seeds need to fully develop.

I did a Grand Daddy Purp that seeded from top to bottom. First time I ever produced more than 3 or 4 seeds in an entire plant. There were thousands of the bastards

Seeds take at least 4 weeks to develop to maturity or so I've been told here on Riu. Spray your girl with water to wash off any pollen. Do this often if you have nannas developing. Nothing worse than immature seed & husk. I'm actually happy to receive the seeds that I have so far but.............

................if I had something like a Grandaddy Purp [never even seen it, oh but the reputation makes me want it] go to seed Cobnod, I'd be thanking the Bud-Gods.
For a start I'd be storing enough for myself naturally for years to come & then be so kind to sell a dozen seeds for half the breeders rate to whoever. Shit, if it wasn't breaking the rules old mate, I'd be sending you a cheque in the mail for a couple of doz thanks [& your stealth better be better than Attitude!] ahem, where was I? Oh yeah it's a mixed blessing for sure when a plant seeds.

Well, I'm just about 2 weeks into flowering now and the buds have picked their sites. Not too bad but I have 3 of those going and they're all a little on the "whispy" side. They're a little bit skinnier than I'd like. But I ran some Chocolate Rain the run before this one and they started out that way but produced some pretty good smoke in the end. I hope I have a similar outcome here.
The Chocolope this time is the DNA version, supposed to be pretty good.
